Dominion

Guy Finley: Before we can choose not to compromise ourselves, we must first become acutely aware of those thoughts of ours that... [continued]

Of course every orthodox religion today has the symbolic picture of exactly what happens to the soul and its progress, but that is a symbolic version, without expectation of physical experience.

But there is a great difference between looking at a very beautiful painting that an artist has painted (sculpture), and being the artist who painted it (sculptor). Metaphysics is completely personal. In fact, you might say metaphysics is completely individualistic, in contrast to the many religions which teach the mass approach.
Metaphysics, when its laws are observed and understood, places in your hands the Perfect Gift that has been promised to each human being from the beginning of time.
In the Old Testament and in the New, this Divine gift is spoken of as a covenant, a pact or contract.
And what is that contract or covenant?
Just this:
You were meant to have dominion over your life in every respect, in accordance with the Divine Plan, which is harmony, freedom and fulfillment.
That is the law - very simply - and that is what you learn.
If you are ill, you have a lack of faith in health. If you have financial trouble, you have a lack of faith in substance. If you have trouble with people, you have a lack of faith in love.
Metaphysics is the combination of Religion and Science that can and will completely heal the situation for you. Mildred Mann's Pragmatic Mysticism 1952

There is only God. There is only the power of God. There is only the presence of God. There is no opposing power. Sin, disease and death are not real and there is nothing to fear. Pain and suffering are never required. In the presence of God, there is only good. In the light of Truth, there is no darkness. In the awareness of joy, happiness, wholeness and abundance, there is no pain, sadness, illness or deprivation. Only the Truth is true. I dedicate this whole situation to the Truth and peace is inevitable. Thy will be done. Amen Miracles in Prayer by Robin Duncan

Yet more limiting beliefs:
I’ll never have enough money.
Money is a struggle.
I’m not deserving.
Money just comes to some people and I’m not one of them.

‘How can a person change himself?' “Remember the fundamental rule. No man ever changes his behaviour until clearly seeing self-defeating behaviour as self-defeating. He must observe how he really feels at the time he says or does something against his own nature. Equally important, he must not mistake the ego-thrill of wrong behaviour for happiness. It may take many shocks and frustrations, and a powerful pressure of pain before a man lets go of his pretence and his resistance to truth. He will let go fearfully at first - for he knows not what will become of what he calls his self - but he is breaking out of prison. No longer giving value to mere emotional excitement, he sees how he has been defeating himself. This is his first glimpse of a changed nature." Vernon Linwood Howard
