The word has All-Power.

The Gatekeeper to the Subconscious Mind is your Conscious Mind.

Nothing negative can find a foothold in me this day. No doubt or fear can attach itself to me. No accidents or mistakes can occur because I walk in a path of right action, both when I am thinking of it and when I am not. I release myself and all my affairs this day to the perfect working of that Perfect Law, which turns these thoughts into things.  Frederick W(illiam) Bailes

Although we all have one brain, we possess two minds or two phases of mind power - CONSCIOUS and SUBCONSCIOUS.

The Hero's Journey.

My spirit sings this day, for I am filled with the consciousness of Life, a life that is more than physical. I am tuned into every happy, healthy, successful person this day. Their thoughts travel over invisible paths to me and mine to them. I draw strength from them and they from me. I deliberately disconnect my mental pathways from those that are morbid or ugly, for I am alive only to Truth, Goodness and Beauty. Frederick W(illiam) Bailes

Do not put your hope in this world.

I wish harm or sorrow to no one this day; all persons wish me well. My business is indwelt and surrounded by right action. The Knower in me gives me fresh, vital ideas; I meet nice people, make good contacts, close good sales because people like to do business with me. Frederick W(illiam) Bailes

My body is a temple.

We make our own happiness or our own misery indenpendant of circumstances - for no matter how sad the circumstances - or unfortunate the surroundings - there is wisdom & happiness enough - we have only to turn to it.

The Knower within me guides ME.

God is Eternal Light, which is Eternal Life, and the more we realize that we ourselves are made of this Eternal Light, both in Soul and Body, the more we shall find God as a continual source of Light and Life in ourselves. This is why Jesus said,

First Find God in Yourself.

Remember Christ’s words,
“The Kingdom of Heaven is within you,”

A good Way to begin your day.

This prayer is from Frederick Bailes book,

“Hidden Power for Human Problems”.

“This day I move in a bright new world, which is the reflection of my innermost thoughts and beliefs. Consciousness is the only reality; experiences are only the shadow thrown by this reality on the screen of my mind.

This day I consciously and deliberately align myself with Supreme Consciousness. It always moves in right action; therefore, my affairs this day partake of that all-inclusive principle of right action. I am surrounded by a circle of protection; the Knower within me guides me in all decisions; the Law draws me to those persons, places, and things that tend toward my fullest benefit, and I in turn become a powerful blessing to all whom I meet this day. I reject any belief in, or fear of, wrong action.

My body is a temple in which God dwells; all of His methods and activities are those of right action. I welcome every one of these activities and throw myself wide open to them. Nothing destructive can enter or operate within my body this day, for I am deliberately choosing the most constructive molds of thought.

I wish harm or sorrow to no one this day; all persons wish me well. My business is indwelt and surrounded by right action. The Knower in me gives me fresh, vital ideas; I meet nice people, make good contacts, close good sales because people like to do business with me.

This word that I speak I speak not from myself. It is the Word of the great God in me speaking Itself into my experience. This word has All-Power to fulfill itself in my life and affairs this day. It is the most powerful word in the universe. I release it to the Creative Law of Mind, fully confident that it is now being fulfilled.”

By Imagination We Become

We can think about something forever and never see it in our world,
But, just once, let us feel its reality,
and we are bound to encounter it.
The more intensely we feel,
the sooner we will encounter it.
We regard feelings far too much as effects and,
not sufficiently as the causes of the event of the day.

“Your Mind Can Heal You”

“The Science of Mind philosophy is not a few psychological tricks; it is a life to be lived.”

Dr. Frederick W(illiam) Bailes(1889-1970) was born into a family of pioneers in New Zealand and was educated to be a medical missionary. Just as he was completing his training he was found to have diabetes, a so-called “incurable” condition, which prevented him from entering his work. Shortly afterward, he came across the writing of Judge Thomas Troward and began to develop a philosophy for living which led to his complete recovery long before the discovery of insulin. Later, as a student at a large London hospital, Dr. Bailes closely observed the mental factors which entered into the recovery of patients and noticed that certain fundamental thought-patters invariable produced bodily reactions. By encouraging his patients causative mental patterns toward healing, Dr. Bailes soon found remarkable results.

Frederick Bailes was among the most popular and important teachers of the Science of Mind. Dr. Bailes served with Science of Mind founder Ernest Holmes as Assistant Dean of the Science of Mind Institute in Los Angeles. He also headed the largest Science of Mind church of its day. In addition, Dr. Bailes was an accomplished metaphysical healer, having healed himself, using the very technique – “Treatment” – that he explains in these Lessons. “The Science of Mind philosophy,” says Dr. Frederick Bailes, “is not a few psychological tricks; it is a life to be lived.”

Dr. Frederick Bailes gave weekly lectures to capacity audiences in Los Angeles and was well known for his twice-weekly radio broadcasts. He is also the author of “Your Mind Can Heal You”; “Basic Principles of the Science of Mind”; “The Healing Power of Balanced Emotions”; and “Collected Essays of Frederick Bailes”.

Spiritual mind treatment, he says, "with the fundamental truth that the person for whom we are treating is a perfect idea in the Mind of God, and our whole procedure during a treatment is intended to remove from our own mind any idea or picture of imperfection or sickness."

Here then are the seven "R's" that Bailes suggests in his book “Your Mind Can Heal You”, a seven step approach.

Relaxation: We assume a position that assures physical relaxation and a quiet mind.
Recognition: We recognize that we are not speaking into a void. We are surrounded by the Creative Mind of the universe, which receives our thought embodied in our words and sets to work to carry it out into material form.Relationship: We consciously unify with the Creative Mind, knowing that we ourselves, the person treated for, and this Mind are all one. There can never be any separation between them.Reasoning: To arrive at this inner certainty, we have to dissolve all doubts. We go through a process of reasoning to arrive at this certainty.Realization: Once we have arrived at the point where we realize the inner perfection of the one being treated for, we shall know it, because we shall have arrived at a place of quiet, calm assurance.Release: We are not responsible for the outcome of the treatment. Our only responsibility is to build a clear picture in our mind of the perfection of ourselves and the one being treated for, and to remove all doubts about that perfection. We now release this picture to the Creative Mind.Rejoice: We give thanks for the success of our treatment, not to influence how Mind works but to confirm our belief that the entire situation is resolved in exactly the right and ideal way.
