Too simple in fact for the wisdom of man that tries to complicate everything.

I AM hath sent me unto you.
Be still and know that I AM God.
I AM the Lord and there is none else. There is no God beside me. I girded thee, though thou hast not known me. I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil. I the Lord do all these things.
I AM the shepherd.
I AM the door.
I AM the resurrection and the life.
I AM the way.
I AM the Alpha and Omega.
I AM the beginning and the end.

I AM the way.” The awareness of being is the door through which the manifestations of life pass into the world of form.

If you, the reader, will give up all of your former beliefs in a God apart from yourself, and claim God as your awareness of being  you will transform your world with the realization that, “I and my father are one.”

You are, at this very moment, drawing into your world that which you are now conscious of being. Now you can see what is meant by, “You must be born again.” If you are dissatisfied with your present expression in life the only way to change it, is to take your attention away from that which seems so real to you and rise in consciousness to that which you desire to be. You cannot serve two masters, therefore to take your attention from one state of consciousness and place it upon another is to die to one and live to the other.

I AM,” the awareness of being, is the way through which the thing shall come.

“In that day there were giants in the land; and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers. And we were in their sight as grasshoppers.”[Numbers 13]
Today ( the eternal now), when conditions around you have appear as giants (such as unemployment, the armies of your enemy, your problems and all things that seem to threaten you) those are the giants that make you feel like a grasshopper.
But, you are told, you were first, in your own sight a grasshopper and because of this you were to the giants — a grasshopper.
In other words, you can only be to others what you are first to yourself.
Therefore, to revalue yourself and begin to feel yourself to be the giant, a center of power, is to dwarf these former giants and make of them grasshoppers.

“All the inhabitants of the earth are as nothing, and he doeth according to his will in the armies of Heaven and among all the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand, nor say unto him, “What doest thou’?”
This being spoken of is the one and only God — the everlasting father, your awareness of being. So awake to the power that you are, not as man, but as your true self, a faceless, formless awareness, and free yourself from your self-imposed prison.

“I am the good shepherd and know my sheep and am known of mine. My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they will follow me.”
Awareness is the good shepherd. What I am aware of being, is the ‘sheep’ that follow me. So good a ‘shepherd’ is your awareness that it has never lost one of the ‘sheep’ that you are aware of being.

I am a voice calling in the wilderness of human confusion for such as I am aware of being, and never shall there come a time when that which I am convinced that I am shall fail to find me.
I AM” is an open door for all that I am to enter. Your awareness of being is lord and shepherd of your life. So, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want” is seen in its true light now to be your consciousness.
You could never be in want of proof or lack the evidence of that which you are aware of being.

This being true, why not become aware of being great; God-loving; wealthy; healthy; and all attributes that you admire?

It is just as easy to possess the consciousness of these qualities as it is to possess their opposites for you have not your present consciousness because of your world. On the contrary, your world is what it is because of your present consciousness. Simple, is it not?

Too simple in fact for the wisdom of man that tries to complicate everything.

AT YOUR COMMAND ~ NEVILLE GODDARD 1939

I’ve seen MEETUPS for “Law of Attraction” and the “Abraham Teachings”. Hanging around like minded people is good. But, your consciousness really needs to be centered on God otherwise it becomes an ego thing. A friend lent me a CD from a Hicks seminar. The question asked was “Do you have to come back?”. The answer, after some stuff over co-creation and ranting over patio stones, was “Yes, you want to come back.”. Therein lies the rub. Spirit doesn’t care about patio stones. Incarnation is the belief in the separation from God. Once you understand that then as you raise your consciousness or awareness the ego subsides as you establish with the Oneness or the Allness of God. The Atonement or AT-ONE-MENT. That was the original form of Christianity which was changed over the years by the relentless effort of the ego for self preservation. The ego wants you to remain separate. I never finished listening to the CD after that.

Emmet Fox was right. You need to use churches and books as a means to an end and then simply start doing. Goddard brilliantly explained it without putting any conditions or restrictions on it. Prosperity is great. But it is a package deal.
God-loving, healthy and wealthy.
Be still and know that I AM God.

Let us today be truly humble, and accept what we have made as what it is. The power of decision is our own. Decide but to accept your rightful place as co-creator of the universe, and all you think you made will disappear. What rises to awareness then will be all that there ever was, eternally as it is now.
Salvation is the recognition that the truth is true, and nothing else is true.

The power of decision is my own.
This day I will accept myself as what
my Father's Will created me to be.

Then will we wait in silence, giving up all self-deceptions, as we humbly ask our Self that He reveal Himself to us. And He Who never left will come again to our awareness, grateful to restore His home to God, as it was meant to be.
He will substitute the peace of God for all your frantic thoughts, the truth of God for self-deceptions, and God's Son for your illusions of yourself.

God Is, Period!

A thought about “God in a Box”: We’re here to LIVE life, not merely observe life.

You no longer need be concerned with the many misstatements of others. You can determine what Fact is to yourself and stay there. As you do this you find yourself less concerned about what is not Fact and much more concerned with the Infinite Fact of Perfect Being ITSELF.
Cool. That includes politicians, family, friends, others.YOU concern yourself with YOU and your relationship with God.
The joyful occurrences in one's experience are not the GOALS at all. They are the “added things” that come from a personal determination of what God is—and they all have to do with Reality, with one’s real Identity, with who, and what God is, with who and what “I” am. Answer the question “What is Truth?” for yourself; let the attention remain here, and then, as the answer begins to occur, you will enjoy the seeming changes that take place in your day to day living quite as something “extra,” as “signs following”--yet not half so wonderful as the recognition of your honest Identity.
And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. Hebrews 8:11
How prone one is to look at 'things' and attach values to them: “I like this and I do not like that. This is worth more or less than that.” So far as Fact is concerned, there is no real value, power, nor importance in any 'thing'. GOD is the Reality. God, Fact, Reality, Truth is the value, power and importance. 'Things' are just what they are—'things', ideas and objects within Awareness—but without power to help or harm.
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Jeremiah 31:34
People do past life regressions, they’re real to them. I’ve attended regressions but in hindsight, the person leading the regression was leading, which is tantamount to the power of suggestion. There are no secret chambers under the Great pyramid but you’ll imagine anything when it it’s suggested to you. Likewise for picking a number out of the blue or traveling to Atlantis which is under water. A friend did several regressions and said I was in them. That was merely their belief. I didn't buy into it. Reincarnation supports the notion you’re separate from God. A while ago a boy in the states claimed he lived during the war. Sure enough someone did and had experiences the boy described. Now, isn’t that great. He was separate from God and can NOW discover God this lifetime. No ones going to divorce their spouse because in a past life they were their husbands number one girl or their husband shot their horse and burned their barn down. It’s only a belief without proof. Just as pendulums, dowsing rods, Ouija boards, table tipping and some other things relate to the Ideometer Effect, a subconscious belief, so do other things.Liberation. No Ascended Masters popping in to your living room saying you have to repeat. No Abraham saying you want to come back. No need to come back. We're not here. But NOW in this moment we can start to REMEMBER who ans what we are. That readers is the simplicity of Jane Woodward and William Samuel. As easy as it was to stop believing in the Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus.
Just as if science discovered the center of the Universe is a black hole, then we came from darkness, nothingness,  but God is the LIGHT that leads us home.
People I knew at a new age bookstore in Cambridge said there were invisible aliens in the basement with a vortex machine, here to save the world. The aliens didn’t pay rent or attract customers so the store closed closed. Beliefs. Of something external.
But the Truth is God IS.

"I am a child of God, and therefore I do not inherit sickness."

It was in 1886 that a series of lectures were presented in Kansas City by Dr. Eugene B. Weeks. Dr. Weeks had at one time been a student of Christian Science under Mary Baker Eddy. However when one of her chief pupils Emma Hopkins broke away to found her own movement, The Illinois Metaphysical College, in Chicago, Dr. Weeks went with her. It was as a member of her College that he visited Kansas City.
It took 2 years before Myrtle Fillmore was completely healed. She was considered to be dying of hereditary tuberculosis. With no doctor or drug intervention, using tremendous strength of character and mental discipline, she daily focused on the idea from Weeks - "I am a child of God, and therefore I do not inherit sickness."

Of the body, not in the body.

“Prayer that craves a particular commodity, -- anything less than all good, -- is vicious. Prayer is the contemplation of the facts of life from the highest point of view. It is the soliloquy of a beholding and jubilant soul. It is the spirit of God pronouncing his works good. But prayer as a means to effect a private end is meanness and theft. It supposes dualism and not unity in nature and consciousness. As soon as the man is at one with God, he will not beg. He will then see prayer in all action. The prayer of the farmer kneeling in his field to weed it, the prayer of the rower kneeling with the stroke of his oar, are true prayers heard throughout nature, though for cheap ends.”  ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

YOU are in Heaven right now as you read this.
Wherever the Life, which is your True Being takes you, all will be well. And then there will come a time when you realize it is not I going anywhere. It is not I doing anything, but I am fixed in the Moment, fixed in the Now, watching my form as on a movie screen as it goes and comes and I direct the whole thing from my extreme vantage point. There is a peace and harmony that comes as part and parcel of the joining. This harmony will come in all things and bring everything together into Oneness. This is trusting God! This total and complete surrender is a forgetting in regard to separation, because in Truth, there is none!
You will think less in theory, more in Reality, until the balance tips and you will realize that you are speaking from a place of knowing and confidence, that there is ONE living out through a body/form, and you are IT, and IT is You.
“God in a Box” ~ Jane Woodward

It occurred to me this week that chi, prana,  grids, strings and strands, primordial substance, subtle energy, ectoplasm are merely ego terms to relate how everyone in the world is connected. We a re spirit, all is mind. We can’t conceptualize being without the body so we relate it to what ever makes sense in our personal experience. Our own personal rules of engagement, so to speak. Did Hopkins, Cramer, Brooks and Fillmore even know what Chi was I wonder?

Of the body, not in the body: I’ve talked to people and suddenly been aware I was of the body, not in the body. No judgement, no emotion, just being. If it wears off it’s a lesson in judgement, trust or faith. Actually I don’t know for sure. There’s no guide book on God so it’s highly individualized.

Accepting people where they are: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcdodajwm6I This I liked. Would I change anything of my past? No. And I wouldn’t necessarily recommend some of the experiences. If friends don’t like what you read, well like the song says:
Lost the friends that I needed loosing
Found others on the way.
And as always, “Be still, and know I am God”.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1
You don’t have to rescue anyone, change anyone or heal anyone!

John 7:33/34
"Yet a little while am I with you and then I go unto him that sent me. Ye shall seek me and shall not find me and where I am, thither ye cannot come."

"Yet a little while I am with you, and then I go unto him that sent me."
"Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me,"

means that others may wonder what you are doing and be unable to follow you in understanding or belief.
"And where I am, thither ye cannot come."
Other members of your family, or the patient himself, may be unable to rise in consciousness and enter into the feeling of perfect health, because they are wrapped up in worldly beliefs.

Forgive, let go and let God.

As you begin to realize the ‘I AM’ or you ‘Be still, and know I AM God’ it helps to see things from other perspectives in order to forgive, let go and let God.
A script is a pattern of thinking and behaving in the world which restricts some of your options. The ideal, therefore, is to become script free, or be able to apply the strengths in your script consciously. You made decisions based on limited information. Your dad drank not because of you or that but because his situation, his beliefs, his frame of reference which were drawn from his child experiences.
Being script-free is being autonomous(behaving, thinking or feeling in direct response to here and now reality rather than reacting to things based on a script belief). Autonomy is manifested by the release or recovery of three capacities: awareness, spontaneity and intimacy.

Happy Mothers Day.

Momsense:Anita Renfroe http://www.anitarenfroe.com/

Get up now
Get up now
Get up out of bed
Wash your face
Brush your teeth
Comb your sleepy head
Here's your clothes
And your shoes
Hear the words I said
Get up now
Get up and make your bed

Are you hot?
Are you cold?
Are you wearing that?
Where's your books and your lunch and your homework at?
Grab your coat and your gloves and your scarf and hat
Don't forget you got to feed the cat
Eat your breakfast
The experts tell us it's the most important meal of all
Take your vitamins so you will grow up one day to be big and tall
Please remember the orthodontist will be seeing you at three today?
Don't forget your piano lesson is this afternoon

So you must play
Don't shovel
Chew slowly
But hurry
The bus is here
Be careful
Come back here
Did you wash behind your ears?
Play outside
Don't play rough
Would you just play fair?
Be polite
Make a friend
Don't forget to share
Work it out
Wait your turn
Never take a dare
Get along
Don't make me come down there
Clean your room
Fold your clothes
Put your stuff away
Make your bed
Do it now
Do we have all day?
Were you born in a barn?
Would you like some hay
Can you even hear a word I say?
Answer the phone
Get Off the phone
Don't sit so close
Turn it down
No texting at the table
No more computer time tonight
Your iPod's my iPod if you don't listen up

Where you going and with whom and what time do you think you're coming home?
Saying thank you, please, excuse me
Makes you welcome everywhere you roam
You'll appreciate my wisdom
Someday when you're older and you're grown
Can't wait 'til you have a couple little children of your own
You'll thank me for the counsel I gave you so willingly
But right now
I thank you NOT to roll your eyes at me
Close your mouth when you chew
Would appreciate
Take a bite
Maybe two
Of the stuff you hate
Use your fork
Do not you burp
Or I'll set you straight
Eat the food I put upon your plate
Get an A, Get the door
Don't get smart with me
Get a Grip
Get in here I'll count to 3
Get a job
Get a life
Get a PhD
Get a dose of...
I don't care who started it
You're grounded until your 36
Get your story straight
And tell the truth for once for heaven's sake
And if all your friends jumped off a cliff
Would you jump too?

If I've said it once, I've said at least a thousand times before that
You're too old to act this way
It must be your father's DNA
Look at me when I am talking
Stand up straight when you walk
A place for everything
And everything must be in place
Stop crying or I'll give you something real to cry about
Oh!
Brush your teeth
Wash your face
Get your PJs on
Get in bed
Get a hug
Say a prayer with Mom
Don't forget
I love you
**KISS**
And tomorrow we will do this all again because a mom's work never ends
You don't need the reason why
Because
Because
Because
Because
I said so
I said so
I said so
I said so
I'm the Mom
The mom
The mom
The mom
The mom

In treating another the patient should seem to you all mental - or nothing but thoughts & their sickness the result of their bad thoughts - if you can turn them to see their true self & have the right thought the error will vanish.

My God, I thank Thee

Adelaide Anne Procter ( 1825 –  1864) was an English poet and philanthropist. She worked on behalf of a number of causes, most prominently on behalf of unemployed women and the homeless, and was actively involved with feminist groups and journals. Procter never married, and some of her poetry has prompted speculation that she was a lesbian. She suffered from ill health, possibly due to her charity work, and died of tuberculosis at the age of 38.
Procter's literary career began when she was a teenager; her poems were primarily published in Charles Dickens's periodicals Household Words and All the Year Round and later published in book form. Her charity work and her conversion to Roman Catholicism appear to have strongly influenced her poetry, which deals most commonly with such subjects as homelessness, poverty, and fallen women.
Procter was the favourite poet of Queen Victoria. Her poetry went through numerous editions in the 19th century; Coventry Patmore[1] called her the most popular poet of the day, after Alfred, Lord Tennyson. Her poems were set to music and made into hymns, and were published in the United States and Germany as well as in England. Nonetheless, by the early 20th century her reputation had diminished, and few modern critics have given her work attention. Those who have, however, argue that Procter's work is significant, in part for what it reveals about how Victorian women expressed otherwise repressed feelings.
My God, I thank Thee, who hast made
The earth so bright,
So full of splendor and of joy,
Beauty and light;
So many glorious things are here,
Noble and right.

I thank Thee, too, that Thou hast made
Joy to abound;
So many gentle thoughts and deeds
Circling us round,
That in the darkest spot of earth
Some love is found.

I thank Thee more that all our joy
Is touched with pain,
That shadows fall on brightest hours,
That thorns remain;
So that earth’s bliss may be our guide,
And not our chain.

For thou who knowest, Lord, how soon
Our weak heart clings,
Hast given us joys, tender and true,
Yet all with wings;
So that we see gleaming on high
Diviner things.

I thank Thee, Lord, that Thou hast kept
The best in store;
We have enough, yet not too much
To long for more:
A yearning for a deeper peace
Not known before.

I thank Thee, Lord, that here our souls
Though amply blessed,
Can never find, although they seek
A perfect rest;
Nor ever shall, until they lean
On Jesus’ breast.

FINNISH GOLD STORY.

In the booklet, The Quiet Hour, by S. D. Gordon, published by Fleming H. Revell Co., New York City, there is a story of miraculous increase, of which the following is a condensed account. It is called
FINNISH GOLD STORY.
"It was a winter's night up in Stockholm. The evening meeting was over, and a number of Christian friends were gathered about the supper table. We were talking as we ate, of our experiences of God's goodness. One lady present was induced to tell through interpretation, a story of the unusual experience of a friend of hers in Finland.
It was about a woman who had to pay an unjust bill for lumber used in building a little chapel. She hadn't money enough; all efforts to get more failed; legal action threatened; then during prayer the money in her little treasure box increased in amount until there was enough to pay the claim. That is the bones of the story.
It quite startled every one who heard it. Such a thing was unheard of in modern times. And doubt was freely expressed by some of the most earnest and thoughtful ones present. The doubt was not of God's power to do such a thing, but of the accuracy of the story. The woman in her excitement must have made a mistake. Some friend was secretly helping, it was thought. Was she used to counting money? Was the box locked up so that no one else could get access to it? She was probably a good woman, but rather excitable. So question and comment ran.
As I listened to the story, then to the comments, I though that if it were true and our friend who told it to us, and who personally knew the woman in it, seemed quite assured herself of its being so it should not be told until it could be thoroughly verified, but that if it could indeed be verified, it should be told, and told widely."
Here the author tells of how he and his wife prayed, that, if the story were true, they might be led to Finland and meet the woman and speak in the little chapel. It is exceedingly interesting to read of how the Spirit opened the way, so that they went to the village and were with the woman two days, having an excellent interpreter, who also came in answer to prayer.
The woman is the postmistress of the village, or rather railroad junction, a very important post which she has occupied over twenty years. It is a position of great responsibility, as there are no banks in Finland and much money passes through the mails. Something like $800,000 passed through her hands some years.
"Her books were as carefully kept as any bank account books I have ever examined in my earlier banking days ; not only with painstaking accuracy, but with neatness of a skilled accountant. This seems sufficient answer to the comments I heard when the story was told in Stockholm."
There was need of a chapel, and the woman, a quiet, unassuming body, undertook to lead and be responsible for its building. Free-will offerings constituted the supply. While the building was going on, there came a bill for lumber, which had been bought and received. But the charge was larger than it should have been. With the bill came a peremptory demand for immediate payment of the money, $150, threatening legal proceedings. It is customary in Finland to provide long credit, and the chapel funds were not equal to that payment. The people were poor, and there had been much opposition on the part of the Church people to
the chapel being built.
She made every effort to get the money, but it was all fruitless. The final time of payment drew near. She made one last journey to a near-by town. "The man she hoped to see was abroad; his wife thought she ought not to have begun building till she had the money."
On her way back, as she was in prayer, a thought came to her that had been coming, more or less, all through this trial. It was of how Jesus increased the loaves and fishes. She thought, "God can touch my slender chapel funds and do as in the desert, make them sufficient for the need."
"On her return home, as soon as she could get time from her work, she went to the drawer to get the little box where the chapel funds were kept. She had counted the money before that last journey and she found she had just $70 (350 marks in Finnish money)." She had $18 of her own. She was all alone, and she poured the money on the table and put her own meager store with it, and covering it with her hands, prayed in simple childlike language :
"Lord Jesus bless Thy money as Thou dist bless the loaves in the wilderness. I will put my loaves too in Thy hands, and do Thou let them, with Thine, meet this need ; let this money cover the amount of this bill."
Then she counted the money, and it was exactly 751 marks ($150) and she noticed there was now much gold, though there had not been much gold in the box.
She sent word to the collector that he could come for the money. Before he arrived she again spread the money out to count it, this time feeling an impulse to take out her own little store of 90 marks ($18) and the remainder amounted again to the 751 marks ($150). With a heart overflowing with thanksgiving she awaited the collector.
When he came she told him her wonderful experience, and he was much moved. As the money was counted again before him, there were a few silver coins over, and the bill was duly paid, and the officer gave her the receipt.
The author goes into many details, to show the unmistakable character of the wonder-work, and gives it as a message from the prayer-answering God.

ThankYou

Always get the vision before you begin to work.

Dr. Robert H. Bitzer ( 1896 - 1994) Founder and Spiritual Director of the Hollywood Church of Religious Science, wrote several books and gave hundreds of classes during his career. The Hollywood Church of Religious Science was the Hallmark Church in the Religious Science movement.
As Gaze wrote in ”My personal Recollections of Thomas Troward [1958]”: Dr. Robert Bitzer, internationally known President of the International New Thought Alliance, also conducts a church in Hollywood, in the western section. Dr. Bitzer’s church has built a handsome building for the preaching and teaching activities, for the children, and for the social work of the church. Like all Religious Science organizations, this one also features the books of Thomas Troward, and when Dr. Bitzer gives a Troward class it is deservedly popular.”
From "Collected Essays " page 19: "No matter what you are attempting to do, always get the vision before you begin to work. See the completed demonstration. If you are buying a house, think of it as completely furnished and completely paid for. Even though you may take out a mortgage on it, treat that it is completely paid for. For the first property our church bought, we worked that way. Instead of waiting twenty years to pay off the mortgage, we did it in eight years."
From "Collected Essays" page 20: "As for money. I have never worked for money. I depend upon divine Principle. I have never experienced lack, because I know the source of my supply. I never depend upon the channel but only on the source. I am open to all avenues through which my good comes. I thank everyone who is an instrument and show my appreciation, because no one has to be a part of my demonstration. However, the source blesses and prospers everyone that it uses. Understanding this law, we are never imposed upon, nor can we impose upon someone else. Bless everyone through whom your good comes. I have always been governed by this law - long before I ever heard of metaphysics."

"The state of being at one."

The absolute truth is, that there is but One Being in the universe, and that one is God; that man is nothing of himself, separate from God; that it is a delusion, a false belief, that there is any separation that is real.

The Atonement is the process and the truth and the state of being ("the Way, the Truth and the Life") that heal the sense of separation such as belief in the first place, that man is separate from God; in the second place, that man is separate from his fellow-beings; and third, that man can be separate from himself.

The whole word Atonement means "the state of being at one."

(An Address Given Before the Boston Class of 1918 by Annie Rix Militz)

I blogged this back in 2010. It bears repeating.

You do not need to wait for another incarnation, but your goodness of today can be expressed here and now, in this incarnation, as overflowing plenteousness of the world's goods.

One of the pioneers in the field of religious radio broadcasting.

Dr. Ernest C(harles) Wilson
(1876-1982)

the ‘Dean of Unity minsters’

Dr. Ernest Charles Wilson or Ernest C. Wilson (1876 - 1982) was a prominent minister with the Unity School of Christianity, headquartered in Kansas City. He was ordained in 1917 and became minister of Cleveland Unity Center in 1935. From Cleveland he went to Unity School of Christianity as editor of Youth Magazine and later became editor-in-chief of Unity Publications, as well as an international lecturer and teacher.

Charles Fillmore, the founder of Unity, appointed Dr. Wilson as his successor as minister of Unity Church in Kansas City.
