Guy Finley: We want things to change. This wish, in itself, is like
believing that being anxious about whether the sun rises or not will help it to
do so. Life is change. But we also want it to get better, which means...

Never Regret Love / Natural Rhythm / Laid-Off? / Miracles
No matter how blind, it improved your vision.
No matter how foolish, it made you wiser.
And no matter how generous, it made you more.

Just let Truth be your teacher.
"Ever
feel that those who are supposed to protect you are your worst enemies? Don't
be dismayed. Dare to see thru human weakness posing as strength. Don't hesitate
to realize that your present sources of help are no help at all. By bravely
seeing weakness in both others and yourself you will finally win great inner strength.
So don't be like a man leaning against a telephone pole that is about to fall.
You can learn to stand all alone. Just let Truth be your teacher." VH
"Suppose you slip out of bed some morning with the
resolve to make it a cheery day. You determine to think and do nothing but bright
and constructive things.
Then you walk to the television set and turn it on - to a horror film. You sit down to watch mad monsters tear up the earth. You see nothing but vicious destruction.
Now, turning on that horror film is something you would not do if you had resolved to make it a peaceful day.
Yet, that is exactly what millions of people do every morning. They start their day with their own horror film.
And it is an endless performance; it runs deep into the night. That horror film is in the mind. We call it _negative imagination_. It is really a horrible way to go through the day.” VH

While you see a chance take it.
Once in your life you'll find her Someone who turns your heart around
And next thing you know
You're closin' down the town
. . .
The best that you can do is fall in love
Christopher Cross - Arthur's Theme lyrics
If you meet someone that gets under your skin, whether it’s at home or on vacation, Valentines Day is a nice time to run an ad in the paper and see if the Lady Could be interested.
If nothing happens maybe you’ll bee able to write about in Readers Digest when your 80. Maybe you’ll meet again when the time is right. Or maybe you found something better or it’s coming.
Like the song says:
While you see a chance take it
Find romance fake it
Because it’s all on you
Find romance fake it
Because it’s all on you
“ the lyric of the song is about realizing that you are all alone in this life and you have to do with it what you can”~Will JenningsWhile You See a Chance
By Steve Winwood/ Will Jennings
Album: Arc Of A Diver
In any event, for the time being,
Thanks for the memory. . .
We who could laugh over big things
Were parted by only a slight thing.
I wonder if we did the right thing,
Oh, well, that's life, I guess,
I love your dress.
. . .
Thanks for the memory
. . .
Awfully glad I met you,
Cheerio and toodle-oo
Thank you,
Thank you so much.
Thank You. So Much.

Valentines Day
Ever go south and see people fall apart as soon as they meet someone in a foreign country.
You don't even have to go that far. I had a dance partner that met someone from the states. She decided against staying there, wouldn't move because of the kids. Big scene on the plane when he was dragged off, he boarded to stop her from leaving. Unresolved past life business? You never know. Interestingly enough, besides swapping stories and the fact her dad built log cabins, she also met her and her ex's ex-lawyer at the dance class and approached her with a legal problem her ex saddled her with. There are no coincidences.
.
My definition of cold feet is standing in slush realizing someone isn't going to show. Maybe the lady can tell me about it someday. You know when going to the bull fights wasn't such a good idea when you ask for a sign and a woman walks through the lobby in a wedding dress. But, life is a dream. We thank those who touched our hearts if only for a week. My mother died 6 or 7 weeks after that. At least I had something positive to focus on during that time even if it never came true.
In these days of no regrets
I’ll keep mine to myself
And all the things we never said
I can say to someone else
Cause nothing lasts forever, but we always try
And I still can’t help but wonder why
We let it pass us by
I’ll keep mine to myself
And all the things we never said
I can say to someone else
Cause nothing lasts forever, but we always try
And I still can’t help but wonder why
We let it pass us by
I don't really believe in Twin Souls or Soul Mates. If you study A Course in Miracles and have read Ken Wapnicks material on THE METAPHYSICS OF SEPARATION AND FORGIVENESS (and maybe read Patrick Millers book "Understanding A Course in Miracles". then this should make perfect sense:
The dream of the "perfect partner" is an attempt to find EXTERNAL integration, while retaining conflicting needs in the self.(Urtext,CH1)And it puts a new spin on a "Holy relationship".As long as you remember ALWAYS that you never suffered anything because of anything that anyone ELSE did, past memories are not dangerous.(Urtext,CH1)
