"It is impossible to be hurt except by your own thoughts." ~ A Course in Miracles

Guy Finley: We want things to change. This wish, in itself, is like believing that being anxious about whether the sun rises or not will help it to do so. Life is change. But we also want it to get better, which means...

(5:3) If you want to give yours (errors) over to the Holy Spirit, you must do this with his.
I may say that I want to be forgiven and to experience God's Love, but I will not do so as long as I project my sin onto you and attack you for it.
(5:4) Unless this becomes the one way in which you handle all errors, you cannot understand how all errors are undone.
All errors are undone by bringing them to the Holy Spirit—by recognizing that they had no effect, and that they have no meaning or power.
(5:5) How is this different from telling you that what you teach you learn?
It is exactly the same thing. What It Means to Be a Teacher of God

Students of A Course in Miracles should strive to live up to the ideal of establishing a community of love, their being the loving fulcrum that would join together the Course's teachings with all those they would meet or even think about. ~ Kenneth Wapnick~FACIM-ACIM

In The Song of Prayer, Jesus tells us not to make the error real: "Do not see error. Do not make it real" (S-2.13:3-4). What is the error? The error is the ego. The error is the thought system of the ego, and all of the variations of that thought system. Do not take it seriously. Do not fight against your ego. Look at it, understand why you are holding on to it, but do not do anything about it. Miracles versus Magic

"Freedom and happiness and contentment consist of knowing what you want. There cannot be any greater real pleasure than knowing from your innermost spirit, what you want. That’s it!

When your heart knows what it wants, that is exclusive domain, that is all there is, there can be no intruders, no contradictions, where there is contentment in knowing what you want, which will be something very high, then there is no room for anything of lower levels to come in and upset it, it cannot be upset. You’ve heard phrases and read them in books about the pure in heart, those whose inner nature is innocent. That state always and beautifully knows what it wants and what it wants is to stay where it is and it has no other desire other than that.

Think about that a little bit while we go on to another point, what happens to you when you know what you want, not from your inner essence but from your head, from your acrobatic mind. You’re quite certain from plenty of experiences that there can be no happiness or contentment in that, there can only be the surgings of new wants, new ambitions, all which eventually smash into the wall at the end of the street and then the individual has to get up and start the search all over again."

You have to Un-Do things, or donothing….to live well, to succeed, to achieve, to get something, to wake up, to make peace, to have good relationships, to make money.
None of these states require YOU to DO anything to get them.

"The prerequisite to true freedom is to decide that you do not want to suffer anymore. You must decide that you want to enjoy your life and that there is no reason for stress, inner pain, or fear." ~ Michael Singer

Clearing out clutter can be a good way to cleanse your consciousness. What you may notice is that your mind has something to say about pretty much everything. Some of these conversations may be inspiring, while others not so much.  Items in our physical space may conjure up regretful images of the past or wistful hopes for the future. If you look closely you can see that both are based on the scarcity thought "this isn't it".
Take some time this week to listen to the ongoing conversation you are having with your physical belongings. If you desire to be more present in your life, it may serve you to release the items that are not a match for you so you can focus on what does inspire you. Affirmation: Everything I own is useful, beautiful or inspiring to me. http://www.receiveyourlife.com
