We were brothers up there.

It is important to realize that the meaning we unconscious give to events is never the truth, because events have no inherent meaning.  So any meaning we give an event—positive or negative—exists only in our mind, not in the event itself.  Full article @ But I Want To Have Positive Emotions by Morty Lefkoe

I was watching a show the other night. The sub-plot was the main characters father loosing his drivers licence and wanting his son to take him to see someone before thy die to tell him something. The father had been a flyer during WWII and had gotten lost. This other man had also been a flyer and had helped him get turned around and fly in the right direction home.
This other man was also a German. The father had said this man told him that day he did that deed because for once he wanted to do what felt right, not what his country wanted him to do. They were brothers up there in the sky. He had a hard time forgiving himself for actions during the war. The message the father gave him in hospice at the end of the show was that one action of saving his life had done some good.

The Prayer of Faith by Hannah More Kohaus The Prayer of Faith first appeared in Mrs. Myrtle Fillmore’s column, Wee Wisdom in August of 1898. She said that while she was in Chicago, she met the author Hanna More Kohaus, at which time she was given permission for prayer to be used by Unity. As years went by Mrs. Kohaus told Mrs. Fillmore the prayer was used and used, and many names put on it. But Truth will out, and finally credit was given to Mrs. Kohaus. Since that first publication, The Prayer of Faith has appeared thousands of times in Unity publications and elsewhere.
The only book as such that Myrtle Fillmore wrote was Wee Wisdom's Way, which was an expression of her love for children and her interest in helping them understand God's wonderful Truth. Her desire to bless children with rich spiritual ideas flowered into Wee Wisdom, America's oldest magazine for children, of which she was editor for many years. What's new today (June 3, 2013) is that the text and illustrations from Myrtle Fillmore's Wee Wisdom's Way is now freely available on the Internet @ http://www.truthunity.net/books/myrtle-fillmore-wee-wisdoms-way.

The Wisdom in Our Doubts by Janice Campbell

“The only time involved in healing is the time it takes for a realization.” - Ernest S. Holmes

The question you must ask yourself is “am I working against my true life interest without seeing it?” “Am I doing things, saying things, am I living a kind of a life that of all things is working against me and I don’t see it?
Don’t you suppose there’d be quite a shock, quite a revelation to you if you found out that after all these years here, you’ve been living exactly opposite to what is authentically best for you?"

I stake my claim.
There are three steps to staking our claim as a child of God to God’s good.
Each of us desires different things in our lives. But in the certain area where you have a desire, there is an ideal, perfect solution.
The first step is to recognize the ideal, praying for God’s guidance in prayer. This recognition is the first step to bring it forth in our lives.
The second step is to realize the God truth that you can have that ideal.
The third step is to stake a claim; claim it for yourself.
When you can claim in faith, believing without doubt, and what you
claim will come to pass through God’s help and daily partnership.
The power of positive claiming will bring positive results in your life. There are a thousand good starters for one good finisher. The finisher claimed what he/she wanted in life and things changed. When you claim something (like the perfect job), it isn't just wishing any more. It is a knowing that it is going to come to you.

“I bargained with Life for a penny,
And Life would pay no more,
However I begged at evening
When I counted my scanty store;

For Life is just an employer,
He gives you what you ask,
But once you have set the wages,
Why, you must bear the task.

I worked for a menial's hire,
Only to learn, dismayed,
That any wage I had asked of Life,
Life would have paid.”

If you learn the law of God, you will trust that all people will do it when you announce it without your enforcing it. This text held constantly will train you to mercy: The Lord render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness.” ECH
