Joy and Peace are still possible, right here, right now, no matter what’s going on.

“Stop pretending that you are in bondage—stop telling yourself that lie! Stop pretending to be someone, or something! You are no one, you are no-thing! You are not this body or this mind. This body and mind exist within who and what you are. You are pure consciousness, already free, awake, and liberated. Stand up and walk out of your dream. I am here to say that you can do this.”
“We always want someone else to change so that we will feel good. But has it ever struck you that even if your wife changes or your husband changes, what does that do to you? You’re just as vulnerable as before; you’re just as idiotic as before; you’re just as asleep as before. You are the one who needs to change, who needs to take medicine.”
“Just sit there right now, don’t do a thing. Just rest. For your separation from God, from Love, is the hardest work in this World. Let me bring you trays of food and something that you like to drink. You can use my soft words as a cushion for your Head.”

 ~ Hafiz
"When a man sees that his imaginary self has nothing to give to others, he also sees that the illusory selves of others have nothing to give him, which ends his painful gullibility."

No one will ever be treacherous to you. No one will ever fail you, if you learn this precept young: “With all thy getting, get understanding.”
ECH

From new perception of the world there comes a future very different from the past. The future now is recognized as but extension of the present. Past mistakes can cast no shadows on it, so that fear has lost its idols and its images, and being formless, it has no effects. Death will not claim the future now, for life is now its goal, and all the needed means are happily provided. Who can grieve or suffer when the present has been freed, extending its security and peace into a quiet future filled with joy?
Father, we were mistaken in the past, and choose to use the present to be free. Now do we leave the future in Your Hands, leaving behind our past mistakes, and sure that You will keep Your present promises, and guide the future in their holy light. I seek a future different from the past. Lesson 314

YOU’re not actually sure if YOU WOULD be happy if YOU “manifested” whatever YOU think would make YOU happy. Isn`t that in the future? So, YOU have no idea what will happen in the next hour, day, week, month or year, DO YOU?

No matter what you manifest, you’ll find out that it’s not going to make you happy. You can manifest anything if you believe it. Does it have anything to do with happiness or well-being? Absolutely not!…Who cares if you manifest something or pay cold hard cash for it…DOESN’T MATTER! Don’t get suckered in. When you come into total harmony with the flow of your existence….you see what the universe is manifesting FOR you, not what YOU are manifesting.”

Who would you be without the belief that you really need more money in order to be truly happy?
(Or education, health, beauty, success, courses, diplomas, retreats, peace, knowledge, wisdom, balance, silence, companionship, courage, recognition).
Without the belief that you need more of something ...
Not needing MORE of something? Not needing some kind of improvement? Not needing to WANT? Not needing to NOT WANT? Not needing to NEED?
Who would you be?

I’ve been busy studying various peoples takes on Money Consciousness. It’s all part and parcel of abundance, prosperity and Law of Attraction.
As Emma Curtis Hopkins so eloquently stated: “ God is good, God is in everything so everything is Good.” God  is in that table, the floor, the a rug on the floor, the window and the sky to paraphrase ACIM.
Byron Katie stated: ”There’s such abundance here, now, always. There’s a table. There’s a floor. There’s a rug on the floor. There’s a window. There’s a sky.”

Money isn’t real, it’s all made up. We’re the creator, not the creation, The dreamer and not the dream as ACIM reminds us.

I have an infinite amount of ideas, service, creativity, skill, experience worth trading for money.

MONEY ...

  • is not limited…it moves towards this and that, repairs this and that and all kinds of other possibilities, it’s amazing what it can be traded for or bartered for
  • does grow on trees (!), it shows up unexpectedly, it’s made from trees, when it’s used, more grows, like apples or food…more always shows up
  • is a gift to earn, it doesn't earn me
  • provides people the opportunity to give me great service and me the opportunity to give other people great service
  • is very easy to get, earn, find, acquire
  • comes to me easily and effortlessly out of the blue in a host of unexpected ways
  • needs me as much as I need money, it flows through me back to me
  • I can do with or without, there is no fear necessary either way, I need not be concerned with any future
  • helps people become generous, giving, healthy, spiritual, discerning, calm, and easy-going
  • has nothing to do with relationship unless you believe the race-mind thoughts that have been passed along for generations
  • does not have anything to do everything that is wonderful
  • is a huge teacher
  • makes it fun to shop, whether it's that fine store, that thrift shop or that second hand store
  • is an expression of appreciation and gratitude
  • is a symbol of God's love

It's not wrong to inherit money, people lay such a guilt trip on us, we lay such a guilt trip on ourselves.

It's not a sin to win a lottery. I have a friend who's complained about people they know who hoarded the money, bought cars and motorcycles, didn't start buying people coffee etc etc. The thing is how do you judge what someone else does if they win. DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY SHOULD DO? DO YOU REALLY KNOW HOW THE LOTTERY SHOULD RUN THE LOTTERY? WOULD YOU BE LIKE ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE THAT WON A LOTTERY?

I’ve been involved in settling two estates and also two yard sales.
A few thoughts and tips:

  • ·         Decide whether you send things to auction or donate to a local thrift shop.
  • ·         Follow you gut instincts. If you get the idea that maybe the pool table should be dismantled then pursue that idea. It’s better to pay a professional to take it apart than have it buckle and bust up when the auctioneer tries to carry it out in on piece.
  • ·         Don’t judge people for what they ask for.
  • ·         Be fair and ask others what they think is fair.
  • ·         Don’t judge what people are offering in a yard sale. People will tell you if your prices are too high or just right. They may even point out you’ve got an antique there. If it doesn’t sell then what?
  • ·         Appreciate each and every sale. I’ve seen old ratchet tools sell for peanuts and a desk bring in more than I thought.
  • ·         Never hold a yard sale for a senior and sell something thinking they won’t miss it. They will or someone else will ask where it’s gone.
  • ·         Just sell and  give away what you can. It helps the landfill problem.
  • ·         KEEP YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR

“I need to lose weight” is one thought or belief. A liberating turn around is “I don’t need to lose weight. MY THINKING needs to lose weight” or any similar sentiment.
