"Both Heaven and Hell are states of mind -- NOT places you go after you die!"

Reverend Ike ( 1935 — 2009) was an American minister and electronic evangelist based in New York City. He was best known for the slogan "You can't lose with the stuff I use!"
Close your eyes and see green,” Reverend Ike would tell his 5,000 parishioners from a red-carpeted stage at the former Loew’s film palace on 175th Street in Washington Heights, the headquarters of his United Church Science of Living Institute.

“Money up to your armpits, a roomful of money and there you are, just tossing around in it like a swimming pool.”
Rev. Frederick Eikerenkoetter, better known to millions as REV.IKE, The Success and Prosperity Preacher,” was a Minister, Teacher, Motivator, Evangelist, Counselor, and Pastor to millions of people, for over 40 years. Rev.Ike dared to go where most theologians, Bible teachers, and preachers would not. As an evangelist, on TV, radio, and at mass meetings, he had the “nerve” to PREACH “Prosperity NOW!” — long before it became popular to do so.
He was dismissed by some “mainstream” and “fundamentalist” people, but now many famous preachers, teachers and authors sound just like Rev. Ike — teaching prosperity! He taught people how to get turned on to life. He showed them how to BE, to DO, and to HAVE all the good that they desire through the Presence and Power of God, Infinite Good, within everyone. He taught that the Presence of God-in-you is your Unlimited Resource of Good.
“This is the do-it-yourself church,” he proclaimed. “The only savior in this philosophy is God in you.”

One person who benefited from this philosophy of self-empowerment was Reverend Ike himself. He was one of the first evangelists to grasp the power of television. At the height of his success, in the 1970s, he reached an audience estimated at 2.5 million.

Reverend Ike could be an electric preacher, whether at the old theater or on the road appearing before standing-room-only audiences. And he could make his congregations laugh, drawing on the Bible to drive home his message about the virtues of material rewards. “If it’s that difficult for a rich man to get into heaven,” he would often say, citing Matthew, “think how terrible it must be for a poor man to get in. He doesn’t even have a bribe for the gatekeeper.”

He fully restored and owned the Christ United Church (“Palace Cathedral”) in Manhattan's Washington Heights section, formerly the Loews 175th Street movie theatre. Restorations included the seven-story high, twin chamber Robert Morton organ. The “Miracle Star of Faith,” visible from the George Washington Bridge, tops the building’s cupola. He was also the “chancellor” of the United Church Schools, including the Science of Living Institute and Seminary (which awarded him, his wife, and his son Doctor of the Science of Living degrees); the Business of Living Institute (home of Thinkonomics); and other educational projects.

Rev. Ike's free "Thinkonomics" e-book starts your journey to a happier, healthier, more prosperous life.
In the Science of Living, we teach that if you want to be something, first SEE yourself in your mind BEING it.
Define yourself as the one who is DOING that which you want to do.
Define yourself as the one who is HAVING that which you want to have.
And then visualize. See yourself in the theater of your own mind BEING, DOING, and HAVING the good which you deserve.
Also, you must use affirmation techniques. You MUST affirm that you are that which you desire.

Add good Things TO “I AM”.
Whatever you add to “I AM”, that is what you become.

Romans 11:33-36
21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
33O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!

Right here and right now, I KNOW exactly what I want!
I have DECIDED in my heart and in my mind.
I BELIEVE in the good which I desire.
I SEE and FEEL myself being what I want to be, doing what I want to do, and havingwhat I want to have.
My positive thinking leads me to positive action. And I get positive results.
Thank you God-in-me!
