Prayers of the heart.

The word of the day at Toastmasters today was visceral. “From the heart, not the head.”
I found this on the internet yesterday. “Miracles in Prayer, 150 Prayers for Everyday Living(LINK here), a free e-book from Robin Duncan.
From inside the e-book:
“Every time you engage in prayer, you are calling upon God, the highest and wisest part of your mind, for an answer. There is no greater or wiser place to turn than directly to God, the Source of Divine Intelligence, to receive the guidance, wisdom and answers you seek. With your willingness combined with the strength of God, your fearful thoughts can be undone and the memory of peace can be restored to your mind. It is through this gentle and loving process that we begin to remember the Truth of who we are and the all-encompassing love our Creator has for us.”
“If all it takes is a little willingness to invite miracles, you might be wondering why our Higher Mind hasnt already stepped in and healed our thoughts or rescued us a long time ago. In order for our Higher Mind to intervene on our behalf, it must be invited. This is because it is wholly loving. Out of love, our Higher Mind will never invade, attack, push, force, manipulate or even persuade us to think differently. If it did, it would be attacking our minds. It waits patiently for our invitation because It knows that we cannot alter the Truth of who we are, not even with our greatest misperceptions, mistakes, failures and illusions. The worst we can do is to delay our happiness.”
“In Truth, we do not have the ability to alter or change ourselves, but we do have the ability to “think” we can… and what we think… we will see, feel, hear, smell, taste and experience, and then believe to be real.”
Ignorance is bliss. No guilt involved. We’re to remember what we are. We simply forgot.

There are no tests of Faith. A loving God doesn't test his children. Any belief in tests come from the ego. God walks through us, with us and wants us to wake up.
