I give in love because I love to give.

Someone gave a poignant, off the cuff, speech at Toastmasters this week. While living in Mexico he was
·         kidnapped at gunpoint and later released after the kidnappers got what they wanted and he kept his cool.
·         had an attempted robbery at gunpoint. He carried no cash.
·         had the payroll stolen from his office during which a gun was pointed at his head.
·         rolled the car after a tire blew on the highway. No one in the car was hurt.
He calls himself lucky. It’s all in the attitude. After coming to Canada he was approached by his current employer while working somewhere else. Count you blessings. Don’t sweat the small stuff.
Another speech involved changing his lifestyle, losing weight, overcoming type-2 Diabetes and improving his liver. He also forgot the divorce, stopped drinking and quit smoking. Be happy where you are and love yourself.
Do you hoard? Do you need to or are you doing it out of fear?
Need help with a prayer? Google online prayer and join a prayer group. The more the merrier. If it’s what you really want.
I met someone who listens to YouTube stuff about the ‘Illuminati’ and the ‘New World Order’. It has nothing to do with God. It falls under the false idols and teachers category. Conspiracy theories are just, that theories; innuendo without concrete evidence. Pseudo-science is much the same.
No one is preventing anyone from studying Christianity or any other religion for that matter. There were scores of people I’ve blogged about that turned to the Bible and God with success. The onus is on the individual.
After the tragedy with the Sikh community this past week I heard one of their leaders in the US say he was praying for the perpetrator. That was true forgiveness. We are all children of the same God. Love yourself, love God and Love your brother. Lay all judgement aside, be still and listen.
We are all healers. If you’ve ever listened to someone’s problems you’ve been a healer. Whether you gave advice or merely comforted you exhibited signs of healing. What that person needed.
