Solitude and Letting Go.

“Inside myself is a place where I live all alone, and that’s where I renew my springs that never dry up.” ~ Pearl Buck

"What could you not accept,
if you but knew that everything that happens,
all events, past, present and to come,
are gently planned by One Whose only
  purpose is your good?"
ACIM WB Lesson 135.18

 Solitude
isn’t something that should scare us. On the contrary. Solitude is something that should excite us. Something that should bring joy and exhilaration into our hearts. Because only by spending time alone with ourselves can we discover what’s hidden deep within ourselves. And only by spending time alone in silence can we discover the beauty, the light, the happiness and the unconditional love that’s hidden deep within each and every one of us. PurposeFairy

Thought for the Day
"A healed mind does not plan.

It carries out the plans that it receives through

listening to wisdom that is not its own.

It waits until is has been taught would should be done,

and then proceeds to do it.

It does not depend upon itself for anything except

its adequacy to fulfill the plans assigned to it."
ACIM WB Lesson 135.11.1-4

"You create the idea of someone who needs to be blessed, who needs to have exciting times. You create the delusion of an entity there, and then you try to prove it by giving that so-called entity thrills, feelings, experiences, and it all hardens the delusion of who you think you are. You must see through _you_." Vernon Linwood Howard

Alan Watts - Let go of controlling everything

"By letting it go it all gets done. The world is won by those who let it go. But when you try and try. The world is beyond the winning." - Lao Tzu
