Prayer is an aspiration of the heart.

The important thing is not to think much, but to love much;
and so do that which best stirs you to love.

~ St. Thérèse of Lisieux

"Your task is not to seek for love,
but merely to seek and find all the barriers
 within yourself that you have built against it."
ACIM Ch.16.IV.6

For me prayer is an aspiration of the heart, it is a simple glance directed to heaven, it is a cry of gratitude and love in the midst of trial, as well as joy; finally, it is something great, supernatural which expands my soul and unites me to Jesus. St Thérèse in Story of a Soul.

"The primary hurdle in all teachings lies in experientially realizing what has been intellectually understood."
- Wu Hsin

"Conflict and peace are opposites.
Where one abides the other cannot be;
 where either goes the other disappears."
ACIM Ch.23.I.12.6

"Truth is restored to you through your desire,
as it was lost to you through
your desire for something else.
Open the holy place that you closed off
by valuing the 'something else,'
and what was never lost will quietly return."
ACIM Ch.20.VIII.1.2-3
