Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart.
Who looks outside, dreams.
Who looks inside, awakens.

Carl Gustav Jung

The world needs your genius.
Be faithful in service.

but the will of Him that sent me."

ACIM teaches God did not create it, and so it is not real. God did not create that war, that airplane crash, disaster, cancer, heart attacks, AIDS, or whatever may arouse fear in you. (Lesson 14: God did not create a meaningless world.)

What were Quimby’s views on dis-ease?
As man creates and forms things from the invisible world, so he creates and forms things in the form of diseases - and teaches the young and old how to make them. So man forges the fetters (or disease) that torments him. Man must be taught that he is the author of his own misery. And until that time comes, man will be tormented by his own belief and that of others. This is hard to understand; yet it is true. Now separate false ideas from the true; and then language ceases to have such a sway over the world. But now it is in the hands of the most desperate set of demagogues that ever existed. [Language - Part One]
Now a belief is a chemical change produced in the mind by language, which conveys an idea of an invisible thing that cannot be seen, but described. The image, being created in the mind according to description - the matter is kept condensing, and phenomenon is produced on the body, according to the belief. Now if there never had been any language, the belief never would have been created, and of course no phenomena would have been produced. Language: Part Two May 18, 1864
To be a disciple of Jesus is to put his wisdom into practice - not to be calling yourself a Christian, but by your acts; to separate yourself from opinions and beliefs that can never make a man happy or wise, and to enter into that world of science, where opinions never come. Comparison Between Christians 1800 Years Ago & Now: Science & Ignorance Illustrated
Do man's troubles arise from his errors? I say that they do - but this is merely an opinion, unless I can show more proof than my base assertion. I will try and give some proof of what I say. All will admit that if a person believes he is acting rightly - to himself, he is. But if his acts are condemned by the world, he must suffer the penalty of them. This is true of every act in man's life. It is true also of the sick in every stage of disease, from a lame ankle to a confirmed cripple. Their belief is the cause of their trouble. The Cause of Man's Troubles 1864
Dr. P.P. Quimby
A cancer is sown in the mind. It is nourished by human wisdom, which says, “A cancer is a living thing, independent of our knowledge, that will eat and eat, till it eats away life.” This fact takes root in every part of man's sensitive system, till his whole frame has become adjusted to it. The result is that the body takes form according to the growth of the seed. The mind, deriving its productive power from wisdom, keeps changing and changing, till a living cancer is brought forth in the flesh. The mind of man is like matter (or soil), which will bring forth vegetation - and man, himself, is the planter. A Cancer is Sown in the Mind
Now if disease is not the invention of the whites, why does the savage not have the disease in the same locality in which he lived before he ever knew the whites? Take the Indian tribes. When they lived separate from the whites and had no communication with them, they were healthy. But as soon as the whites settled near them and they began to enter into their beliefs, then the savages became frightened and disease took hold to them. Now if disease is a thing that goes around and attacks man, why does it not attack those that never had anything to do with civilized life? The fact is religion and disease are synonymous. Both are the invention of man for the special benefit of a few, but disease has become so settled in the minds of man that it amounts to a solid fact and is believed in as having a being independent of man and is an enemy to his happiness. It is believed by every person therefore that to correct this belief and restore a person to health is a mystery. But when a man can see that his belief can make him sick, he won't require much reasoning to see also that to correct his belief will make him well.1863]
You know I have spoken of odor. It is like the odor of any flower or vegetable and is what arises from an idea. Thought is a chemical change in the fluid, caused by a sensation produced on the mind. The mind is under the direction of a power independent of itself and when the mind or thought is formed into an idea, the idea throws off an odor that contains the cause and effect. For instance, a person is affected; the effect is called nervousness; this contains no knowledge to science, only an effect. ... From these prisons the smoke of their tormenting belief ascends and when I come in contact with their grief or odor, I know the cause of the trouble. The trouble is a sort of intelligence and belongs to this world. It is a sort of instinct to the natural man and has nothing to do with science. Odor July 1860

It is interesting that in 1863 Quimby referred to the case of Caspar Hauser (Kaspar Hauser - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), a German youth who claimed to have grown up in the total isolation of a darkened cell, showing the youths supposed sensitivity to light and smell were heightened through the isolation.
A feral child (also, colloquially, wild child) is a human child who has lived isolated from human contact from a very young age, and has no (or little) experience of human care, loving or social behavior, and, crucially, of human language. Some feral children have been confined by people (usually their own parents); in some cases this child abandonment was due to the parents’ rejection of a child’s severe intellectual or physical impairment. Feral children may have experienced severe child abuse or trauma before being abandoned or running away. Others are alleged to have been brought up by animals; some are said to have lived in the wild on their own. ("Wolf Child")
When you feel joyful, energized, enthusiastic and grounded you are living your values and following the guidance of your inner self. You have a feeling of expansiveness and know you are in the flow of your life.
"We start with that all-powerful principle of the Mystic Path: self-awareness. We must become acquainted with our emotional household; we must see our feelings as they actually are, not as we assume they are. This breaks their hypnotic and damaging hold on us. Negativities are like weeds in a deep basket. When we bring them to the surface of the basket — of our awareness — the winds of Reality carry them away."
