Alan and his wife Deb Whitehouse authored "New Thought: A Practical American Spirtuality" and "Practising the Presence of God for Practical Purposes". Besides their blog they were active proponents of the INTA.

Alan assisted Ervin Seale in re-publishing the Quimby material. In their writings they mentioned The
Golden Key to Prayer by Emmet Fox. I realized that was the same idea as what William
Samuel wrote and Florence
Scovel Shinn’s “cast the burden” was about.
