Dying at home.

Why not.

But eventually you'll need to consider

  • extra support staff
  • overnight staff
  • can you get a nurse from 5PM until 8AM
  • hospital bed?
  • medications
  • emergency oxygen in case of power outage
  • commode?/diapers/pull ups
  • garbage
  • which family members you can rely on
  • Doctors accessibility
  • a palliative care specialist
  • Hospice Volunteers

And those are just a few. Ultimately, it depends on your individual requirements. Just be aware people will do exactly what they are prepared to do. Some will whine because they can't/aren't willing to do more. That's just the way it is. That's not a judgement thing. They just can't do it for some reason. Even though at some level they may wish they could. Could you?
