It’s the realness of life that allows us to live freely and love deeply.

Deep within your soul is the God light of reason. Heed it. So you will be good and do good. Emma Curtis Hopkins

Learn what it means to leave those who would punish you with word or deed to the bitter fruit of their own designs. Let go of the judge in you by recognizing we cannot hold someone's feet to the fire without suffering getting burned ourselves. Guy Finley

“Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind,
And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.”
William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream

"In time, with practice, you will never cease to think of Him,
and hear His loving Voice guiding your footsteps into quiet ways,
where you will walk in true defenselessness.

For you will know that Heaven goes with you."

If suppressing feelings doesn’t work, what does?
The alternative is to distinguish the meanings we have automatically and unconsciously attributed to events, which are the source of our emotions, and then dissolve those meanings. “We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and our little life is rounded with a sleep.” William Shakespeare, The Tempest

You’re supposed to bump into challenges and get bruised by hard stuff. You’re supposed to feel [  more  ]

"Time seems to go in one direction,
but when you reach its end
it will roll up like a long carpet
spread along the past behind you,
and will disappear.
As long as you believe the Son of God is guilty
you will walk along this carpet,
believing that it leads to death.
And the journey will seem long
 and cruel and senseless..."
