We never know how little our faith till we see how astonished we are at the demonstration.

"The study of Heredity, spiritual anatomy and physiology is highest of all. The key to this study is your own soul. Study yourself; -gain possession and mastery of your own spirit and you hold the key not only to the heights of liberty, but the key that unlocks imprisoned souls." Mary Weeks Burnett M. D. *

" There was no lesson yesterday, and about noon Mrs. Dawn came after me to go with her and Mrs. Browning, her hostess, to the dentist's, as Mrs. Browning had to have a tooth extracted. We started, treating her all the way with the quieting, reassuring thoughts that allay fear. Before she went in we agreed to hold that thought.
"When Mrs. Browning went into the office, we remained in the waiting room thinking as intently as possible :

There is not a thing to fear, Lida Browning, then is no tooth-ache with your real self, there is no sensation in matter. You can entertain nothing but the One Life. The One Mind thinks, and you are His idea, perfect as your Creator. Good is all, Love is all, Peace is already with you, for you are one with the Father.'
. . . "It was done. The dentist was so amazed that he hardly remembered to give his patient a glass of water.
"' Well, I never knew a cuspidate to come so hard. Didn't it hurt terribly?' he asked sympathetically. “Not a bit except when you first put on the forceps,' was her prompt reply as she rinsed out her mouth. . . .
"I need say no more. You can imagine our pleasure at this victory. We never know how little our faith till we see how astonished we are at the demonstration. THE RIGHT KNOCK A STORY BY HELEN VAN-ANDERSON 1889 Page 162-263

Love is the high consummation and fulfillment of all Law. It casts out fear, discord and imperfection. To minister is Godlike, Christ-like. * * * * The law of love reaches down, rules, and overcomes adverse laws which are below itself. Henry Wood.

"The secret for a heavenly existence is to learn how to discontinue yourself from moment to moment. This means that you are mentally vigilant at all times so that you can see with your spiritual eye every thought as it enters your mind and then be very careful that that thought does not form an I, a self, a me, a mine.
This in turn means that when the thought comes up, any thought what- ever out of the tens of thousands that go through your mind a day, that every thought is going to be recognized as it appears and then you're to let the thought do what it’s naturally intended to do, which is to appear before your inner vision and then pass away from your mind and disappear."

Through meditating on the divine desire within you to bless your neighbors there will come joy in paying them. Also there will come faith that others enjoy paying you, and you yourself will not dread to present a bill.
Sometimes letters and other papers are so imbued with false thoughts that were held when they were being prepared that they come like a blow or insult and quite fall short of their purpose. An illustration of this fact was given me by a member of one of my classes. Miss M—, a teacher, had given many lessons to a wealthy woman who had made no movement toward payment, and finally Miss M— concluded that she was waiting for a bill. Feeling it to be thoughtless on the part of her student to wait for a bill, and moved by a combination of resentment, impatience, and indignation, she sat down and wrote the bill and mailed it.
Now this woman was generous and just and also a good student of Truth. If she had not been, Miss M— would have waited long for her money.
“For,” the woman said, “the moment I took the bill in my hand I had such a feeling of resentment, impatience, and indignation against you that I almost threw the bill into the wastebasket, with the vow that I wouldn’t pay you for a month! Then I remembered my principles, and instantly I knew that those were your feelings about me and that I had been reflecting them, and I immediately came down here to pay you. Be careful, young lady, what you think, when you send out bills!” Annie Rix Militz
To the ego it is kind and right and good to point out errors and "correct" them. This makes perfect sense to the ego, which is unaware of what errors are and what correction is. Errors are of the ego, and correction of errors lies in the relinquishment of the ego. When you correct a brother, you are telling him that he is wrong. He may be making no sense at the time, and it is certain that, if he is speaking from the ego, he will not be making sense. But your task is still to tell him he is right. You do not tell him this verbally, if he is speaking foolishly. He needs correction at another level, because his error is at another level. He is still right, because he is a Son of God. His ego is always wrong, no matter what it says or does.
If you point out the errors of your brother's ego you must be seeing through yours, because the Holy Spirit does not perceive his errors. This must be true, since there is no communication between the ego and the Holy Spirit. The ego makes no sense, and the Holy Spirit does not attempt to understand anything that arises from it. Since he does not understand it, he does not judge it, knowing that nothing the ego makes means anything.
When you react at all to errors, you are not listening to the Holy Spirit. He has merely disregarded them, and if you attend to them you are not hearing him. If you do not hear him, you are listening to your ego and making as little sense as the brother whose errors you perceive. This cannot be correction. Yet it is more than merely a lack of correction for him. It is the giving up of correction in yourself.
When a brother behaves insanely, you can heal him only by perceiving the sanity in him. If you perceive his errors and accept them, you are accepting yours. If you want to give yours over to the Holy Spirit, you must do this with his. Unless this becomes the one way in which you handle all errors, you cannot understand how all errors are undone. How is this different from telling you that what you teach you learn? Your brother is as right as you are, and if you think he is wrong you are condemning yourself.
You cannot correct yourself. Is it possible, then, for you to correct another? ACIM, CH9, III, 2.1-6.2
