Are You Waiting or Creating?

“A good character is the best tombstone. Those who loved you and were helped by you will remember you when forget-me-nots have withered. Carve your name on hearts, not on marble.” ~ Charles H(addon) Spurgeon

“Make sure you don’t carry the burden of the whole world on your shoulders, just in case someone needed them to cry.” ~ Nema Al-Araby

It is easy for us to get into habits of thought without even realizing it. Think of a desire, a stirring in your soul, and ask yourself if you are waiting for something outside yourself to bring it to you or are you actively engaged in its creation through your thoughts, words and/or actions.
We may have our desires on hold without even realizing it. There are always openings to move into that bring us closer to our desires. These openings begin in our consciousness first. We have to be able to see the possibility of our desires before we know the next step to take. This week spend some time visualizing what you want to create. Once your vision is clear hang out with it for awhile. Allow yourself to feel the joy of your realized desires. http://www.receiveyourlife.com

“The walls we build around us to keep sadness out also keep out the joy.” ~ Jim Rohn

“Change your conception of yourself and you will automatically change the world in which you live. Do not try to change people; they are only messengers telling you who you are. Revalue yourself and they will confirm the change.” ~ Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune

I will be is a confession that I am notThe Father's will is always I AM. Until you realize that YOU are the Father (there is only one I AM and your infinite self is that I AM), your will is always I will be. ― Neville Goddard, The Power of Awareness

Stop trying to change the world since it is only the mirror. Man’s attempt to change the world by force is as fruitless as breaking a mirror in the hope of changing his face. Leave the mirror and change your face. Leave the world alone and change your conceptions of yourself. ― Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune

purposeFairy: There are moments in our lives when the people we love seem to “fail” us. Moments in which our trust is “betrayed” by those we believed in, and moments when our friends and family members can’t be there for us when we need them the most. When that happens, we feel all alone, abandoned and disconnected from the world around us.
Thinking that people can’t really be trusted, and assuming that we can’t rely on anyone but ourselves, consciously or unconsciously, we decide to stone our hearts. To build walls instead of bridges. And we try very hard to numb ourselves so that we can no longer feel any more pain. >>How to Believe in People Again

Guy Finley: If your true wish is to bring an end to your recurring fears and sorrow -- in whatever form these "bad dreams" may appear -- then you must stop identifying with your "sweet dreams" as well. After all, no one who sleeps through this life is safe within the darkness of that deeply slumbering level of consciousness in which there's no telling what dreams may come. There is true meditation which consists of honest self-study, and reflection upon esoteric ideas. Vernon Linwood Howard

Mark Andreas: Effective Communication and Ethical Influence [ It helps to know as you read this that this idea came from the legendary hypnotherapist Milton Erickson would often say to clients “Will you go into trance, NOW or five minutes from NOW or 15 minutes from NOW? He was working with them and acknowledging their ability to choose when they would be ready.]
