THOUGHT CONTROL

My “Consciousness” is My “Mental Traffic Cop.”
It constantly regulates the outward, and in-coming THOUGHT TRAFFIC in me.
THE SUB-CONSCIOUS REALM is the marvellous Store House; the Garden of my SOUL (Eden.) Whatever is stored, planted and preserved therein – by immutable DIVINE LAW in action – LIVES to out-picture, or express itself in my soul, body and affairs. Be it constructive or destructive, of Love or of bad.
THE SUB-CONSCIOUS NEVER DISOBEYS ORDERS -
Therefore --

“ONLY THOUGHTS and IMPRESSIONS that are constructive, Kind and True shall have the ‘Right OF WAY’ to or from my SUB-CONSCIOUS MIND.”
Herein lies the Secret, closely guarded, of My HEALTH, HAPPINESS, and SUCCESS.
This constitutes Spirituality, EFFICIENCY, AND SELF-MASTERY.
~ Hector George Paul

H. George Paul
was a dental technician in Australia who married Grace M. Aguilar and became a prominent New Thought leader.

He was a deeply sensitive and religious man all his long life. He loved prayers and meditations, hymns and church music, and church buildings and church congregations. Most of all, he loved God and His creation. He worshipped at the Methodist Church in Dee Why where he also taught Sunday School and was a lay preacher.

As a young man (in his early 20s), he became interested in New Thought, having read the book The Heart of the New Thought (1902) by the American New Thought writer and publisher Ella Wheeler Wilcox (1850-1919). Around 1931 (some family members say it was 1927), a need for healing – it appears that he suffered some sort of 'nervous breakdown' – led him to Sydney's New Thought Centre run by Grace Maud Aguilar (1881-1964), a well-known Australian New Thought leader and author. For many years, Paul assisted Aguilar in her work and served the New Thought Centre in New South Wales as either its vice president or honorary general secretary. In time, he also became a prominent Australian New Thought leader.

On September 28, 1949, some 18 (or possibly 22) years after their first meeting at the Manly School of Arts, he married Grace Aguilar at the Manly Congregational Church, in Manly, New South Wales. She was 21 years his senior. Sadly, no Paul family members were present at the wedding.

During his time as a New Thought leader in Australian many famous overseas exponents of New Thought lectured and spoke at his New Thought Centre, (E) Australia, including the famous Divine Science minister and author Dr Joseph Murphy (1898-1981) and Brother Mandus [Mandus Nyquist] (1907-1988) and Brother Conrad [Conrad Nyquist (1933-2009) of the World Healing Crusade (now the World Healing Centre), in Blackpool, England. He continued to operate his New Thought Centre at the YWCA Building in Liverpool Street, Sydney until at least 1980 and was a long-serving District President of the International New Thought Alliance (INTA).

Away with despairs.

Can guide your affairs.'
