A person begins earnest work on himself when first sensing he is not who he imagines he is.
"A
boy living in a peaceful land was captured by a band of ruthless outlaws who
masqueraded as innocent travelers. The band's propaganda convinced the boy he
was one of them. Over the years he was taught how to wear the right disguises
in order to deceive and defeat enemies. But one day, when strongly feeling the
unnaturalness of his disguises, he left the outlaws to return to his peaceful
home. A person begins earnest work on himself when first sensing he is not who
he imagines he is. The end of the masquerade is the start of peace." VH
Nothing is inherently stressful.
Contrary to common knowledge, there is no such thing as a “stressor.” In other
words, stress doesn’t exist “out there” and nothing “out there” causes stress.
Stress originates in the mind and exists only in the mind; it’s the result of
an interpretation. Change the interpretation by changing beliefs or dissolving
the meaning you just gave to an event and the stress will disappear.
