Man suffers from insufficient understanding of Reality. Enlightened man views life as a dream from which he has awakened. While others around him are still involved in the dream, he himself is just a nonparticipating observer.

Compulsive activities are psychological ways of trying to cope with unbearable memories and emotions. Sometimes people have been through psychotherapy and recovered some of their memories, yet still continue compulsive behavior, such as, for instance, alcoholism. This is a puzzling issue. It points out that if we don’t have the awareness of God, we have no place to go with these memories. They are no longer repressed; we are aware of them consciously, but we cannot loose them; we don’t know what to do with them, and they are still disturbing us.

Often, in psychoanalytic therapies, it is recommended that we express our rage against the people, even punch them in the nose, to feel better. The idea is that what. we have kept bottled up, we let out and hurt those people back, and then we will feel better.

This is not forgiveness, but a perpetuation of the conflict

 Prospering is a quality of being, while prosperity connotes a quality of having. The word "prospering" points to well-being, peacefulness, assurance, joy, harmony, love, gratitude and freedom from anxiety, fear or torment. These qualities are present in everyone but they may be dormant and can be awakened through the process of study, prayer and meditation. Through such consistent study we can gain a spiritual perspective on Reality, revealing to us the fact that we are perfect spiritual beings, created by God for His own purpose, and that the abundant life Jesus spoke of is our birthright.
