Charles Roth was minister of Unity Truth Center in Indianapolis, Indiana for thirty years.

After his ministry in Indianapolis, he and his wife served at the Unity Church of Pasadena. Mr. Roth traveled to the Holy Land and the South Pacific where he taught his original

67 years serving New Thought.

 

In the metaphysical world that the Rev. Dr. Blaine C. Mays (1933 – 2018) navigated, many streams of religious philosophy flow — Unity, Religious Science, Divine Science, Practical Christianity, University of Healing, Truth Centers, Universal Foundation for Better Living and more.

Blaine was a second generation Truth student and Unity minister.

Happiness is an attitude.

The 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud lady, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock, with her hair fashionably coifed and makeup perfectly applied, even though she is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today. Her husband of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary. After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, she smiled sweetly when told her room was ready. As she maneuvered her walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of her tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on her window. "I love it," she stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy. "Mrs. Jones, you haven't seen the room .... just wait." "That doesn't have anything to do with it," she replied. "Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged ... it's how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it ... It's a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do. Living Now

LIVE EVERY minute as it comes, just as though it were the only minute you had on earth. Let it be filled with love, joy, harmony, courage, faith, all that you hope to enjoy sometime in the future. Too many of us are putting off our good from day to day, from month to month, and from year to year so that we never quite catch up with it. Live now. Forget your troubles of the past and stop dreading the future.

Claude Fayette Bragdon (1866-1946) was a first-generation modernist architect, as well as an illustrator, critic, theorist and theater designer. A prolific and influential writer, Bragdon published more than twenty books and hundreds of articles. He was nationally known for his graphic art, his writing on the fourth dimension, his Song & Light Festivals of 1915-1918, and his role in theater’s New Stagecraft. In 1922 he helped translate and publish P.D. Ouspensky's Tertium Organum, for which he also wrote an introduction to the English translation.

How To Get a Demonstration

HERE is one way of solving a problem by Scientific Prayer, or, as we say in metaphysics, of getting a demonstration.

Called by Love

You first forgive, then pray, and you are healed. Your prayer has risen up and called to God, Who hears and answers. You have understood that you forgive and pray but for yourself. And in this understanding you are healed. In prayer you have united with your Source, and understood that you have never left. This level cannot be attained until there is no hatred in your heart, and no desire to attack the Son of God. Song of Prayer, S-3.IV.4
