At some point you've got to draw a line in the sand, cross it, and never go back.
Guy Finley: Events in our lives serve lessons. Lessons serve
truths. And each truth that we will submit to changes us into... [continued]
'I have done this
thing, and it is this I would undo'.
One of the methods that they have found will work every time in
getting rid of troublesome conditions (which are all the result of erroneous
thinking and feeling) is to deny them in total: First, to
deny that any such things have, or could have, power to make us unhappy; second, to
deny that these things do in reality exist at all. Lessons in Truth, by H. Emilie Cady, [1894]

Events have no inherent meaning
You can never draw
any conclusion, for sure, from an event. In other words, you
can’t know anything for sure about anything merely as the result of an event or
a series of events. All you can know for
sure is that the event happened.

What YOU see is what YOU get. II
Projection makes
perception; the world you see is what you GAVE
it, nothing more than that. The outside
picture of an inward condition. As a man thinketh, so does he perceive. Perception is a RESULT, and not a cause.
"I AM responsible for what I see.
I CHOSE the feelings I experience, and I DECIDED ON the goal I would achieve.
And everything that SEEMS to happen TO me, I ASKED FOR and received as I had asked."
I CHOSE the feelings I experience, and I DECIDED ON the goal I would achieve.
And everything that SEEMS to happen TO me, I ASKED FOR and received as I had asked."
