"When you know who you are you know what to do. So look, that means there is no need for you to ever get up in the morning and wonder what you’re going to do with yourself.
Now we know the boss is expecting you to be there at eight o’clock, so that’s what you’re going to do, be there. However, look how much you resist and worry about such daily tasks as performing your work to earn a living, how much you want to fight the day, and this is because you really don’t understand who you are. Therefore you don’t understand what you’re supposed to be doing with your inner nature regardless of what you’re doing out there at the office or taking care of the children.
You always think that if you could be somewhere else, doing some- thing else, you would indeed find yourself and your anxieties and sad seekings would go away. They wouldn’t because you don’t under- stand the mistake you’re making, you don’t understand the opening sentence of this talk, so let’s look at it again."
