Ursula Newel Gestefeld’s ( 1845 – 1921 ) was healed of some illness by reading

Eddy’s Science and Health in the 1880’s. in 1884 she joined a class taught by Eddy. She remained with Eddy for four years but was expelled from Christian Science in 1888, after a quarrel with Eddy. During the 1890’s, after her husband, George Gestefeld, a reporter, died, she toured the country lecturing and teaching mental healing. Her own religious system she called the “Science of Being.”1
