Authentic Love and Y O U

"If you love Truth you will enjoy your life. You will enjoy your life for the first time because the love of truth is life. What you have now is a muddled blundering, unhappy existence and the reason it is unhappy is because there is no authentic love in it. All there is ‘is you’.
 

And as much as you talk about love and affection and kindness and goodness, you’ve never been able to make it stick, have you? You’ve never been able to believe in it. All you’ve got is the expression ‘I love you’ to the girl that you want something from or I love live which merely means that for the present moment things are going well for you in the family or in your financial pursuit.

We might as well look a little bit at love right now, and the first thing you should realize is that you’ve never known what it is. You’ve never known what it is because you have never lived it. You’ve lived your life in which authentic goodness, kindness, decency and love have been absent. That is exactly why you’re so stunned by everything that happens to you because you have your way of meeting the challenges." 

The joyful occurrences in one's experience are not the GOALS at all. They are the “added things” that come from a personal determination of what God is—and they all have to do with Reality, with one’s real Identity, with who, and what God is, with who and what “I” am.
