GRATITUDE is the simplest form of prayer there is.
Prayer
is the opportunity to join with our Creator, with the Presence of Love that God
is. Prayer is our decision to see things differently and to connect with the
part of our Self that is God’s Voice in the world. Because we are the ones who
make things happen in the world through our own thinking—through the creative
power of our mind—it is not necessary to pray to God to help us manifest what
we want in the world. When we do, we are really just working with our own mind
to create what it is we truly want.
If
we wish to have peace and faith while we create in the world, praying for whatever is in the
highest good of all to unfold can be very helpful because it helps us
acknowledge that we cannot know what is best for us or anyone else, and it helps
us trust that whatever is happening must surely be what is best for all.
Ultimately,
prayer is the opportunity to connect with God and to acknowledge what already
is. It is the opportunity to recognize the Truth … that all that we truly seek
has already been given us and that we remain as God created us to be. When we
give thanks for what already is, we magnetize to us even more of It. With
this perspective, gratitude is he simplest form of prayer there is.
Prayer is talking to God and
that can take any form imaginable.
The simplest, most truthful,
and most profound prayer would be, “Thank you.”
“God, thank You for giving
me your Voice that I may hear You in every moment that I choose. God, thank you
for the opportunity of Right-Thinking in any moment.”
In this way, you acknowledge and validate what really is rather than the thought of needing something, or wanting something.
