Weird Stuff
Last Saturday night’s
hockey game between the Leafs and the Caps was dedicated to former coach Pat Quinn, who wore 23 when he played for
Toronto.
Toronto scored with 23 seconds left to play in the first
period.
Toronto scored again 23 seconds into the second period.
After Washington scored, Toronto responded with a goal of their
own 23 seconds later.
This was the Leafs 23rd game of the
season and they finished the game with 23 shots on net.
Quinn was able to wear 23 for the Leafs
because they traded Eddie Shack (former
#23) to the Bruins for Murray Oliver who died on the same day as
Quinn . . . . November 23, 2014.
Weird!!
