The Significance Of Silence And Other Sermons
I WANT TO SHOW YOU THREE WAYS IN WHICH SILENCE IS
SIGNIFICANT.
I shall ask you to note first the
significance of silence in the hour of the soul's exaltation; second, the
significance of silence in the hour of the soul's grief; and, third, the
significance of silence in the hour of the soul's refusal to come to grips with
reality.
I do not ask
thy -way to understand,
My way to see,
Better in
darkness just to feel thy hand
And follow thee.
