I am blessed as a Son of God

I am calm, quiet, assured and confident.

The part of your mind in which truth abides is in constant communication with God, whether you are aware of it or not. The part that is listening to the Voice for God is calm, always at rest and wholly certain. It is really the only part there is where stillness and peace reign forever.

It is the other part of your mind that functions in the world and obeys the world's laws. It is this part that is constantly distracted, disorganized and highly uncertain. This other part is a wild illusion, frantic and distraught, but without reality of any kind.

Allow peace to flow over you like a blanket of protection and surety. Let no idle and foolish thoughts enter to disturb the holy mind of the Son of God. Such is the Kingdom of Heaven. Such is the resting place where your Father has placed you forever. ACiM

Can you suffer disappointment without setting up an appointment first?

The truth is hidden deep within, under a heavy cloud of insane thoughts, dense and obscuring, yet representing all you see. Think of your mind as a vast circle, surrounded by a layer of heavy, dark clouds. You can see only the clouds because you seem to be standing outside the circle and quite apart from it. From where you stand, you can see no reason to believe there is a brilliant light hidden by the clouds. The clouds seem to be the only reality. They seem to be all there is to see. Therefore, you do not attempt to go through them and past them, which is the only way in which you would be really convinced of their lack of substance. Determine to go past the clouds. Reach out and touch them in your mind. Brush them aside with your hand; feel them resting on your cheeks and forehead and eyelids as you go through them. Go on; clouds cannot stop you. You will begin to feel a sense of being lifted up and carried ahead. Your little effort and small determination call on the power of the universe to help you, and God Himself will raise you from darkness into light. You are in accord with His Will. You cannot fail because your will is His. Try, as you attempt to go through the clouds to the light, to remember that you are at last joining your will to God's. You cannot find salvation in the clouds that surround the light, and it is in them you have been looking for it. It is not there. It is past the clouds and in the light beyond. Remember that you will have to go through the clouds before you can reach the light. But remember also that you have never found anything in the cloud patterns you imagined that endured, or that you wanted. Try to pass the clouds by whatever means appeals to you. If it helps you, think of me holding your hand and leading you. And I assure you this will be no idle fantasy.

I am as God created me. These words are sacred, for they are the words God gave in answer to the world you made. By them it disappears, and all things seen within its misty clouds and vaporous illusions vanish as these words are spoken. For they come from God.

Unsubstantial images will go, and leave your mind unclouded and serene, when you accept the function given you. A cloud does not put out the sun. No more a veil can banish what it seems to separate, nor darken by one whit the light itself. ACiM

Cause and effect but replicate creation. Illusions are travesties of creation; attempts to bring truth to lies. You cannot see in darkness, and you cannot make light. You can make darkness and then think you see in it, but light reflects life, and is therefore an aspect of creation. Creation and darkness cannot coexist, but light and life must go together, being but different aspects of creation. What is thought by the Mind of God is eternal, being part of creation. “My thoughts are meaningless, but all creation lies in the thoughts I think with God.” MY mind is part of creation and part of its Creator. The will you share with God has all the power of creation in it.

I am entitled to miracles. It is merely a statement of your true Identity. It is inherent in the truth of what you are. It is implicit in what God your Father is. It was ensured in your creation, and guaranteed by the laws of God. Creation is eternal and unalterable. You are one within yourself, and one with Him. Yours is the unity of all creation. Your perfect unity makes change in you impossible. Creation knows no opposite.

In creation are all minds as one. ACiM

Let go all the trivial things that churn and bubble on the surface of your mind, and reach down and below them to the Kingdom of Heaven. There is a place in you where there is perfect peace. There is a place in you where nothing is impossible. There is a place in you where the strength of God abides. You will recognize that you have reached it if you feel a sense of deep peace, however briefly. ACiM
