Courage.
Relax is, maybe, the ONLY word that your conscious and unconscious
mind can agree on.
Lesson 34. I could see peace instead of this. When you
reach that state you experience a heightened state of awareness. What if you slip?

Synesthesia and the Structure of Beliefs by
Robert Dilts
A
simple 4-step technique on a regular basis to stop psychologically-caused
insomnia, panic attacks and anxiety:
1. Take
a deep breath and relax.
2. Notice
where the feeling is in your body. Even though it may be uncomfortable, be
present with the feeling and stop your inner dialogue. Just feel it.
3. Now
ask the feeling a question. Yes, this may seem a little odd—but it works: “What
do I need to know to let you (the feeling) go?” Note the first thing that pops
into your head.
4. Determine
whether the feeling is still present. If so, be present with it, and ask the
question again. Repeat until the feeling is gone. NeuroCalm: by Nannette

BREAKUP RECOVERY: Wrongheaded Beliefs
Finally, brethren,
whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are
just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely,
whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if
there is anything praiseworthy—meditate

Love helps us to see that we are actually the dreamer of the dream.
Bring an
End to Having Enemies... Once and for All! Even though we all know the harm it does to lash out at
others, to launch an angry attack or act with cruel intent, we still tend to do
these things anyway. The following insights help make clear why this happens to
us and how we are made, in effect, to act against ourselves and those we love
without really knowing why. ... [ continue reading ] ~ Guy Finley

“The Sign”.
The next time you're in a public place and you see
something or someone who makes you angry or uncomfortable just tell yourself…
"There I go again,
being ____________ ."
Modify that sentence according to the scenario.
For instance:
"There
I go again, being rude".
"There
I go again, being inconsiderate."
The great artists, writers, musicians
and poets became great because they acquire the habit of relying upon the still, small voice that speaks from within, through the
faculty of creative imagination. It is a fact well known to people who have
keen imaginations that their best ideas come through so-called “hunches”.

You don't have to
suffer anymore within a personal story that leaves you feeling "not there

We have been falsely conditioned to believe that we are separate, deficient
people and that our stories are who we are. In this conditioning, we have
learned to avoid uncomfortable feelings and sensations. Scott Kiloby's sites and books

MAYBE
Maybe...God wanted us
to meet the wrong people before meeting the right one so that, when we finally
meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.
Maybe...when the door of happiness closes, another opens; but, often times, we look so long at the closed door that we don't even see the new one which has been opened for us.

Where is your faith?
Hengchen
Dai, University of
Pennsylvania, recent work on a phenomenon she calls the fresh start effect shows that calendar events and
special occasions in our lives demarcate the passage of time (e.g., the
beginning of a new week/month, a promotion, a birthday) and generate fresh
start feelings, which motivate aspirational behaviors such as exercise and
dieting. She is also seeking to understand the importance of breaks through a
study using archival data from a healthcare setting. In this project, she has
demonstrated that taking sufficient breaks from work helps healthcare workers
adhere to professional standards (specifically: sanitizing their hands), while
the fatigue generated as work shifts progress increases employees’ propensity
to “cut corners.”

I am concerned about ______. I am afraid ______ will happen.
IT PROBABLY WILL. Lesson 26 ACIM
You HAVE to be congruent. The ‘persona’* that you project to the outside world can’t
have any ‘shadows’* within otherwise you have a conflicted mind. You
have to look at conflicting beliefs, thoughts and actions.

Surprisingly, the Christian New Testament may offer subtle
insights into how the shadow can be detected and integrated. Jesus, during his
famous sermon on the mount, asks,

The Unwritten Doctrine of A Course in Miracles
. . . we
are led, gentle step by gentle step, through the labyrinth of duality, learning
to forgive instead of condemn, to choose the vision of sameness over our myriad
and fragmenting judgments. We are guided by our Teacher through this circle of
fear (T-18.IX.3) until we are no longer afraid to abandon the false selves
masquerading as bodies, seeing ourselves now as decision-making minds that can
choose love in place of guilt and terror.
