10 main areas to strive for to live positive.
1) Quit worrying.
If life has brought to more lemons than
lemonade. Go to God in prayer and
ask for God’s help with your burdens, and
you will discover that God will
carry many of your burdens for you.
2) Put it on God’s list.
Not on YOUR to do list, but on God’s to-do
list. God cannot help but until
you turn it over to God. God is God and can
take care of anything that you
3) Trust God.
Once you have given God your burdens, stop
trying to take them back. Have
the faith that God will take care of all
your needs, your problems and
your trials.
Problem with the kids? Put it on God’s
list.
Problem with finances? Put it on God’s
list.
Problem with the roller coaster of life?
Put it on God’s list. God wants
to help; all you have to do is ask.
4) Leave it alone.
Don’t wake up one day and think: “I can
handle it from here. I’m feeling
stronger.” Once you give God your burdens,
God is taking care of your
burdens. God is also renewing your strength
and covering you in peace. If
God gives your problems back, you’ll be
back where you started. Leave them
with God, and forget about them. Let God do
God’s job.
5) Talk to God.
God wants you to forget a lot of things.
Forget what was making you crazy.
Forget the worrying, and the fretting. But
please don’t forget to talk to
God – often. God wants to hear your voice.
God wants to be included in all
the things going on in your life. Prayer is
simply a conversation with
God. God wants to be your dearest friend.
6) Have faith.
God sees a lot of things that you cannot
see with human perception. Have
faith in God that God knows what God is
doing. God will continue to care
for you, watch over you and meet your
needs. You only have to trust. How
hard can trust be?
7) Share.
You were taught to share when you were only
two years old. Share with the
less fortunate. Share your joy with those
who need encouragement. Share
your laughter with those who haven’t heard
any lately. Share your tears
with those that are hurting. Share your
faith.
8) Be patient.
Trust in God’s timing, for God’s timing is
perfect. Don’t be so impatient
that it takes a little longer than you
expect. Just because God created
the entire universe, many believe that God
should rush, rush, rush. God
has to wait for Divine timing, when every
condition is right, including
for the people involved, who have
free-will.
9) Be kind.
Everyone you meet is carrying a heavy
burden of some kind, although it may
be invisible to your eyes, or even your
imagination. Be kind, and know
that God loves others as much as God loves
you. God created each of us
different, and God loves each of our
differences.
10) Love yourself.
God is a God of love. Love God! Love your
neighbor! But also love
yourself. It makes God’s heart ache when
God sees how you torture yourself
in mind. You are precious to God. As much
as God loves you, how can you
not love yourself? http://www.positivechristianity.org
