That is the Question
How many of you find yourself crashing
against the rock of life as you navigate the sea of life? How many of you are
sinking and struggling in the water, gasping and getting mad at the ocean?
Now, it can be
reasonably assumed that we are going to have thousands and thousands of more
experiences in this life, so doesn’t it make easy sense, perfect sense to find
out everything we can about the boat itself and about the sea and about sailing
conditions, about the weather?
Wouldn’t it be the mark of intelligence to
say I’m going to learn all about myself, the boat and the sea which is life in
order to avoid the rocks and be able to handle the storms, so that I am stronger
than the storm? Now you are not stronger than the storm, the storms are
stronger than you. Even a little ten mile an hour wind can upset you, throw you
off course, make you clutch the wheel and wonder whether you are going to get
through it or not.
Wisdom and knowledge
both together can improve our navigational skills. VH
Guy Finley: Our stressful, pain-filled experiences are not caused
by people or events but by our reactions to them. And yet, if we
will honestly examine the way we presently question our defeats, here's what we
see... [continued]
"It may not be my way
It may not be thy way,
But sure
in His own way
The Lord
will provide."

There is no love but God's, and all of love is His. There is no other principle
that rules where love is not. Love is a law without an opposite. There can never be a
difference in what you really are and what love is. Seek not within the world to
find your Self. Love is not found in darkness and in death. He Himself will place a spark
of truth within your mind wherever you give up a false belief, a dark illusion
of your own reality and what love means. He will shine through your idle thoughts today, and help
you understand the truth of love. In loving gentleness He will abide with you, as you allow
His Voice to teach love's meaning to your clean and open mind. We leave the past behind us,
nevermore to be remembered. And we raise our eyes upon a different present, where a
future dawns unlike the past in every attribute. The world in infancy is newly
born.
