Have you ever heard of FOMO?
This moment, and who you are, is absolutely perfect. You are missing nothing, because there is nothing better. You can breathe, and let go of all that fear of missing out, and be happy with what you have. Be grateful, and each moment think not about what you’re missing, but what you’ve been given. zenhabits : The 39th Lesson
The past has no impact on how we behave and feel today.
Here's the real reason a "coward dies a thousand
deaths." By law, any fear we refuse to face always returns...
until we finally learn its essential lesson: resistance ensures repetition, so
that whatever we try to go around will
come back around again.~ Guy Finley

May Thoughts: James Allen
Comfort
ye! The heights of Blessed Vision ye shall reach.
EOLAUS: I know that sorrow
follows passion; know
That grief and emptiness, and
heartaches wait
Upon all earthly joys; so am I sad;
Yet Truth must be, and being, can be
found;
And though I am in sorrow, this I
know
I shall be glad when I have found
the Truth.
WE are Light and WE are Loved
Anytime that two or more beings commune in the energy of love,
unconditional love, there is a blessing. That was in an email from a
friend.
Your thoughts are copied unaware until
you learn this text: "My help cometh from the Lord." You
are supremely original when you receive your illumination straight from
Principle and not person. Bind this motive to your heart: "God is
my sun and my shield." ECH

Once you see a belief as a belief and not the truth it is already beginning to lose its grip on you.
When I first began
to mesmerize and as I became interested in the experiments, I found that the
subject could see through matter. I could not help believing this and it showed me that matter could be seen through by a
clairvoyant; so it became not an opinion but a truth to me. I also found that
all that man's senses embraced could be seen and felt by a
person whose bodily senses were dead, if we judged by the body. All this became
a wisdom, not a belief, but a part of my identity. So
what is a belief to the world concerning these things was to me a truth.
My next aim was to become a clairvoyant myself, and as I became convinced
that matter was only a medium for our wisdom to act through, I could see how it
could be transformed and the senses or clairvoyant state be attached to any idea the natural man might think of. The two kinds of reasoning
make up the natural man. Both modes of reasoning can be carried into the
clairvoyant state for this does not embrace reason. Spiritualism:
Death of the Natural Man March 1861
The
good news about beliefs is that they are not permanent. Once you see a belief
as a belief and not the truth it is already beginning to lose its grip on you.
A test can detect whether a medium is clairvoyant or not.
Blindfold
the subject and see if he can tell what you have in your pocket or wallet.
The
capacity of thought-reading is the common extent of mesmerism. Clairvoyance
is very rare and can be easily tested by blindfolding the subject and giving
him a book to read. If he can read without seeing, that is conclusive evidence that he has independent sight. This state is of very
short duration. They then come into that state where they are governed by
surrounding minds. PORTLAND ADVERTISER International House, Feb. 13, 1862 Letter to the Editor

Internal Garden
An inspiring story of healing : Internal Garden touched
me at an emotional and personal level. The phrase “holding people away from her” reminded me of when my mom died of cancer
back in 1995. Towards the end I think she did that. She needed to for her sake.
When she was diagnosed with breast cancer I remember she made the statement “I don’t want to be a
burden”. She never was and how could she be ever.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
There is another advantage, - and a very important one, - in
referring decisions to the Holy Spirit with increasing frequency. Perhaps you
have not thought of this aspect, but its centrality is obvious. To follow the
Holy Spirit's guidance is to let yourself be absolved of guilt. It is the
essence of the Atonement. Do not, then, think that following the Holy Spirit's
guidance is necessary merely because of your own inadequacies. It is the way
out of hell for you. To say, "Of myself I can do nothing"
is to gain all power. The Holy Spirit knows the truth about you. The image you
made does not. To ask the Holy Spirit to decide for you is simply to accept
your true inheritance. Teachers

Salvation comes from my one Self.
Correct action is action against anything which is _wrong_, not merely against whatever is wrong with the neighbor or the social system. It is an endless trick of egotism to see wrongness outside of itself, while conveniently forgetting its own falsity which contributes to the very social system it denounces. By seeing both sides of wrongness at once, both within and without, we no longer divide it, which means we are no longer wrong. VH

Deep down inside ourselves
The entire process of becoming happy consists in
gradually weakening the False Self so that the True Self regains its rightful
position in your life. The False Self
is always unhappy. The True Self is never
anything but happy.
Back in 1904 a scientist named A. V. L. Verneuil [Auguste Victor Louis Verneuil (1856 – 1913)] invented synthetic rubies. They were so similar to natural rubies that they nearly knocked the bottom out of the market for the natural gems. Nobody could tell the difference. The world of commercial rubies was thrown into panic and confusion.

A
story from ancient Egypt tells of a young prince who lived with his father, the
Pharaoh, in a palace along the banks of the River Nile. Restless, as young men
are, the prince set out one morning in search of adventure. The Pharaoh warned,
"Stay near the safety and refreshment of the river.
Don't wander into the dry desert."

The evil we see in ourselves and others is nothing more than
a defense against the underlying love and forgiveness that
reflects the reality of our true self.
People fail to attain personal liberation
because they are unaware that such a state actually exists. People never go
after something unless they at least suspect that it is real, that it is there.
They must therefore become consciously aware if dimly at first-that an entirely
new world exists for them.
The problem?
Reality is

you do that everything becomes up close and personal. Then
you see things as they are .

People Don't Consciously Or Knowingly Burden Themselves.
The fable is told of the traveler
staggering down the road with a rock in one hand and a brick in the other. On
his back was a sack of earth, and around his waist was wound a long coil of
vines. On his head was balanced a heavy pumpkin.

We need only sail in natural waters.
Back in the days of sailing vessels, British and American sea captains
were faced with a peculiar problem. In crossing westward from England to
Boston, the voyage was much slower than when crossing eastward from Boston to
England. In fact, the westward crossing took an additional two weeks, which
represented considerable loss of time and energy. The owners of the vessels
carried their problem to Benjamin
Franklin, who was Deputy
Postmaster General at that time. Franklin, in turn, consulted a veteran sea
captain named Timothy Folger.

Remember YOUR castle.
A king was out hunting with his
princes in a forest many miles from the castle. A sudden snowstorm fell on the
party. In the confusion, the king was separated from the others. When he failed
to return to the castle after four days he was given up as lost. But on the
fifth day, he appeared in the warm dining room.

Life flows from the inner to the outer.
The great teachers ... have therefore always entrusted
Truth with most confidence to parables, which, because of their simplicity,
picturesqueness and association with everyday life, are a thought-form most
likely to be remembered and least likely to be corrupted. Each man, then ...
can perceive that depth of Truth to which he has a capacity to respond.! Dr.

Find time this weekend to turn off your phone, calm your nerves, cast your cares on the Lord, and meditate in the field of His faithfulness.
Isaac was an outdoorsman who worked the fields during the day; but he returned there in the evenings for another kind of work -- the mental work of meditation. Imagine his world. No electricity or electric lights, no radios or headsets, no cell phones or engine noises. With the vault of heaven above him, Isaac took time for nocturnal walks before bedtime to pray and think and meditate. Read More...

Walden Pond is a 102 foot- (31 metre)-deep lake in Concord, Massachusetts in the United States. A famous example of a kettle hole*, it was formed by retreating glaciers 10,000–12,000 years ago. *A kettle (kettle hole, pothole) is a shallow, sediment-filled body of water formed by retreating glaciers or draining floodwaters.
The writer, transcendentalist, and philosopher Henry David Thoreau lived on the northern shore of the pond for two years starting in the summer of 1845. His account of the experience was recorded in Walden; or, Life in the Woods, and made the pond famous. The land at that end was owned by Thoreau's friend and mentor, Ralph Waldo Emerson, who let Thoreau use it for his experiment.
Henry David Thoreau ( 1817 – 1862 ) was an American author, poet, philosopher, abolitionist, naturalist, tax resister, development critic, surveyor, historian, and leading transcendentalist. He is best known for his book Walden, a reflection upon simple living in natural surroundings, and his essay Civil Disobedience, an argument for individual resistance to civil government in moral opposition to an unjust state.

Pelagianism, Semipelagianism, Total depravity
Pelagianism is the belief that original sin did not taint human nature and that mortal will is still capable of choosing good or evil without special Divine aid. This is still sometimes called Limited Depravity. Thus, Adam's sin was "to set a bad example" for his progeny, but his actions did not have the other consequences imputed to original sin. Pelagianism views the role of Jesus as "setting a good example" for the rest of humanity (thus counteracting Adam's bad example) as well as providing an atonement for our sins. In short, humanity has full control, and thus full responsibility, for obeying the Gospel in addition to full responsibility for every sin (the latter insisted upon by both proponents and opponents of Pelagianism). According to Pelagian doctrine, because humans are sinners by choice, they are therefore criminals who need the atonement of Jesus Christ. Sinners are not victims, they are criminals who need pardon.

Jeanne-Marie Bouvier de la Motte-Guyon (commonly known as Madame Guyon)
(18 April 1648 – 1717) was a French mystic and one of the key advocates of Quietism. Quietism was considered heretical by the Roman Catholic Church, and she was imprisoned from 1695 to 1703 after
publishing a book on the topic, A Short and Easy Method of Prayer.
The supreme aim of life on earth is The Contemplation of the Uncreated Light whereby man is Intimately United with God.

Muniesa (Teruel). He entered the priesthood and

Shall the world lead you, or shall you lead the world? This is the point that is to be settled in your mind.
"Reflect often on the
interesting idea of getting out of your own way."~ Vernon Linwood Howard
Happiness is an attribute of love. It cannot be apart from it. Nor can it be experienced where love is not. Love has no limits, being everywhere. And therefore joy is everywhere as well. God, being Love, must be joy. This basic error is the false belief that God is fear. Happiness belongs to you, because of what He is. ~ACIM

Why do you do it?
Sin and
misery are the effects of our belief put in practice, governed by a law of sin
and death. Man is the medium of these two laws; the one, chance or ignorance, which is of this world; the other, God
or Science, which is of a higher. The
wisdom of one is called the law; the knowledge of the other is
the gospel or science. PPQ February
