"If you bend a strip of metal back and forth long enough it will get tired and break. Similarly, mental miseries have a breaking point at which they get tired and break away from us. Our task is to continue the esoteric exploration until this point is reached. It will surely come, whether the problem is that of indecision, of feelings of futility, or of an inability to understand yourself." Vernon Linwood Howard
Behavior is the effect of beliefs, thoughts, feelings, and perceptions. So when you change your mind the self’s behavior automatically changes.
Never let any personality control your judgment or your consciousness. Rise on the wings of your own spiritual convictions. Keep this text in mind: “I will not fear though there be a host encamped against me.” Emma Curtis Hopkins
Love is, above all, the gift of oneself. Jean Anouilh
I could see peace in this situation instead of what I now see in it.If the inroads on your peace of mind take the form of more generalized adverse emotions, such as depression, anxiety or worry, use the idea in its original form. If you find you need more than one application of today's idea to help you change your mind in any specific context, try to take several minutes and devote them to repeating the idea until you feel some sense of relief. It will help you if you tell yourself specifically:I can replace my feelings of depression, anxiety or worry [or my thoughts about this situation, personality or event] with peace.
