"Your desires and true beliefs have a way of playing blind man's bluff. You must corner the inner facts"

David Seabury (1885 – 1 April 1960) was an American psychologist, author, and lecturer. While practicing as a consulting psychologist in New York City, he published fifteen books. He founded the Centralist School of Psychology, was the founder and president of the David Seabury School of Psychology, and was president of the Seabury University of Adult Education. He was the son of Julius Dresser (a Quimby patient and student) but chose to use his mother's maiden name. Dr. Seabury legally changed his last name to stand on his own merit. He was well versed in New Thought.

YOUR VOCATIONAL GUIDE TO THE IDEAL JOB By Alfred M[ills] Uhler 1946
The author has worked out a long series of tests based on the work of David Seabury and his own experience in many different fields. These tests are for self analysis and are intended thereby to help determine what ones chief assets and interests actually are. Should be helpful to anyone who will seriously work on the tests to determine the type of job he can fill. The book also contains some practical as well as inspirational advice.
