Studying and researching New Thought and all the authors has been rewarding. There are some 200 - 300 books on the internet people can read. More added yearly. But they are still only a guide.

You must turn within at some point.

I became disillusioned with church when someone handed me a prayer to make the church more prosperous. How can a church not be prosperous. I knew the church was prosperous in my heart. Churches are full of Love not negative energy. Negative energy, like believing in spooks, is only a belief.

Troward mixed the bible teachings with the metaphysics of India. The bible said "I AM the way". That was one of the short comings of New Thought. The looking for similarities in other religions or beliefs. Behrend, Collier and the "Abraham Teachings" all fall short of "Father within doing all the work" and become more race mind than Christ consciousness. Race mind believes in disease, separation, judging, cruelty, revenge and selfishness . There is no right or wrong, just a choice we  make.  

I believe Troward and Quimby both experienced Heaven on Earth when they died. Never realizing the eternal life. Heaven on Earth is available NOW.  

Some forgiveness lessons are easier than others. You remember when you went running and the night you slept on the floor so someone wouldn't be alone. And then you start to recollect the signs that they couldn't commit but were testing you. But the things you did were out of love and you realize you can love.I've discovered every time I gave a gift it came from the heart. Even if the other person didn't appreciate. Nothing expected in return..

Having an alcoholic closet drinker for a brother has proven challenging. They think they're helping by relating their world to you. But as they've done for the last 40 years they keep trying to make you the victim or their patsy and follow you around like a little puppy. And you wonder when it will end. And how to make it a happy dream.
