Valentines Day

Ever go south and see people fall apart as soon as they meet someone in a foreign country.
You don't even have to go that far. I had a dance partner that met someone from the states. She decided against staying there, wouldn't move because of the kids. Big scene on the plane when he was dragged off, he boarded to stop her from leaving. Unresolved past life business? You never know. Interestingly enough, besides swapping stories and the fact her dad built log cabins, she also met her and her ex's ex-lawyer at the dance class and approached her with a legal problem her ex saddled her with. There are no coincidences.

.
My definition of cold feet is standing in slush realizing someone isn't going to show. Maybe the lady can tell me about it someday. You know when going to the bull fights wasn't such a good idea when you ask for a sign and a woman walks through the lobby in a wedding dress. But, life is a dream. We thank those who touched our hearts if only for a week. My mother died 6 or 7 weeks after that. At least I had something positive to focus on during that time even if it never came true.

In these days of no regrets
I’ll keep mine to myself
And all the things we never said
I can say to someone else
Cause nothing lasts forever, but we always try
And I still can’t help but wonder why
We let it pass us by
I don't really believe in Twin Souls or Soul Mates. If you study A Course in Miracles and have read Ken Wapnicks material on THE METAPHYSICS OF SEPARATION AND FORGIVENESS (and maybe read Patrick Millers book "Understanding A Course in Miracles". then this should make perfect sense:
The dream of the "perfect partner" is an attempt to find EXTERNAL integration, while retaining conflicting needs in the self.(Urtext,CH1)
And it puts a new spin on a "Holy relationship".
As long as you remember ALWAYS that you never suffered anything because of anything that anyone ELSE did, past memories are not dangerous.(Urtext,CH1)
