At this time of year we all have a tendency to get all caught up in the presents – the shopping, wrapping, giving and getting. Christmas is not about the presents. It's about the Presence. http://www.divinescience.org/newsletters/Dec-Jan%2011.pdf
During World War I, young Grace Lightfoot was a student nurse in the University of Colorado Hospital at Boulder. Climbing a stairway while on night duty near the end of her training, Grace felt a touch on her shoulder and a voice spoke to her: Grace, you are working with effects. The cause is in the mind. Soon after, a series of events in young Graces life led her to study the Truth as taught by the Divine Science Church and College of Denver, whose Founder-minister, Dr. Nona L. Brooks, became her teacher and mentor. https://www.amazon.com/Grace-Truth-Lightfoot-Ordained-Minister/dp/0875165419
Rev. Dr. Grace Faus (1897 - ) was ordained by Harvey S. Dr. Harvey Hardman took over the pulpit at The First Divine Science Church of Denver from Nona Brooks upon her resignation. He was also editor of the Divine Science Monthly.
Rev. Harvey S. Hardman accepted leadership of the First Church of Divine Science in Denver in September 1929 as Nona Brooks prepared to travel to Australia in January 1930. He remained at the helm of the Denver Divine Science activity for nearly ten years and was much beloved. Following this experience, he remained in Denver and remained close to the Divine Science Church and College, founding his own Mental Science Institute and School of Philosophy which operated well into the 1950's.
