“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither
does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.” ~ Zig

Lost But Won ►
Motivational Video
The mind is very powerful, and
never loses its creative force. It never sleeps.
Every instant it is creating.
It is hard to recognize that thought and belief combine into a power surge that
can literally move mountains. It appears at first glance that to believe such
power about yourself is arrogant, but that is not the real reason you do not
believe it. You prefer to believe that your thoughts cannot exert real
influence because you are actually afraid of them. This may allay awareness of
the guilt, but at the cost of perceiving the mind as impotent. If you believe
that what you think is ineffectual you may cease to be afraid of it, but you
are hardly likely to respect it. There are no idle thoughts. All thinking
produces form at some level. ACIMI'm talking to you about being totally honest about your weakness, about your fears, about your anxieties over yourself, and then saying, 'I have to act in this situation, this crisis that's coming up. I have to act. But I am going to know absolutely that I am not going into this action with high-level intelligence. I'm going to know that I am a blunderer! I'm going to know that.' If you really _know_ that, you won't want to continue it. And that's the open door by which God, Truth, Reality can come in and begin to remove the impostor from your life. Vernon Linwood Howard
Evening
Reflection
At
the end of your day consider carving out some time to reflect on the
choices you have made throughout the day. Were these choices made from your
compromised self or were they aligned with your authentic self? If you made
some decisions from “shoulds”, ask yourself why. Use the practice of
understanding to gain clarity on why you made the choices you did.
Going through the process of
understanding, compassion and forgiveness can help you to break out of
self-sabotaging patterns. By bringing awareness to the decisions you made
throughout your day you are able to slow down and discern if those decisions
were the best choices for you. If you feel they were not, relax into the
knowing you can choose differently tomorrow.
Affirmation:
I sleep peacefully knowing
this day is complete and tomorrow is a new beginning. http://www.receiveyourlife.com
