Now water can flow or it can crash.

ACIM
4th Dimension
Can you imagine waking up one morning and everything looks like that. The wonders of the internet. You can look things up and check them out for yourself.
- the fifth dimension is a metaphor for unexplored and unknown aspects of the universe and oneself.
- In physics, the fifth dimension is a hypothetical extra dimension beyond the usual three spatial dimensions and one time dimension of relativity.

Spring has sprung
“But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thine inner chamber, and having shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret, and thy Father which seeth in secret shall recompense thee.(Mathew 6.6).
It is difficult to improve upon this simple method. Quietly entering the inner chamber within the soul, shutting the door to the external thoughts of daily life, and seeking conscious union with God is the highest form of prayer we know. “.
ACIM students may recognize the similarity to "Song of Prayer".
Genevieve Behrend's book: Your Invisible Power
Chapter IX, How I Attracted to Myself Twenty Thousand Dollars
A nice little curiosity. All I can say is try it.
The Strawberry Story.

This is a good experiment. If you can duplicate it then show the kids. Projects for guides , cubs, seniors etc. The list would be endless.

New Thought
I've been researching New Thought authors, my interest being the 1800's to early 1900's. Thomas Troward, who mentored Genevieve Behrend, is indicative of using mental facilities to visualize what you want , being tuned into the Universal consciousness to be guided towards action and having the faith that your seeds will bear fruit. And that prayer plays an integral part.
In “Your Invisible Power”(CH16), Genevieve Behrend wrote:
Scientific Prayer
The Principle Underlying Scientific
Prayer
In prayer for a change in condition, physical, mental, or financial, for yourself or another, bear in mind that the fundamental necessity for the answer to prayer is the understanding of the scientific statement:
“Ask, believing you have already received,
And you shall receive”
Troward once wrote in a letter to Behrend: ”I speak after many years of careful study and consideration when I say that the Bible and its Revelation of Christ is the one thing really worth studying, and that is a subject large enough in all conscience, embracing, as it does, our outward life and of everyday concerns, and also the inner springs of our life and all that we can in general terms conceive of the life in the unseen after putting off the body at death.”.
Born in India to English parents Troward was raised in England. At age 22, in 1869, he returned to India and took the difficult Indian Civil Service Examination. One of the subjects was metaphysics and Troward surprised everyone with his answers because of their originality. He became an assistant commissioner and was quickly promoted to Divisional Judge in the Punjab, where he served for the next 25 years. While in India, he learned the language of the country. He studied all of the bibles of the world, including the Koran, Hindu scriptures and books of Raja Yoga. His studies in original Hebrew provided the foundation for his book, Bible Mystery and Bible. His books use scientific jargon that was present around 1900. He was raised in the Church of England and had read the Bible daily from boyhood. Universal consciousness and the power of the mind seem to be central themes.

Only love creates, and only like itself.
Listening to Ken and Gloria Wapnick or Tom and Linda Carpenter just reinforces my belief in a Holy relationship. I remember my parents did an evaluation through a friend, an ex V.P., who started into a new business.Sunday, March 15, 2009
This week had seven days...
I've been using my time to catch on the different ACIM teachers. I've been listening to Jon Mundy all week (An Evening with Dr. JON MUNDY). Everyone has a different teaching style and expands your knowledge and offers ah-ha moments.
Jon had a good point. People that push your buttons there's a reason. For me it's a friend that keeps saying Abraham or the Abraham Teachings. Thats' the name that the Hicks people say their Law Of Attraction information is coming from. Now it has helped my friend immensely. But the first time we were in church and they mentioned the Abraham Teachings the reverend replied “You mean the Hicks people?”. Made me wonder. I've since then heard a CD where the answer to the question “Do we have to come back” was “... you want to come back”. That didn't make sense. So I'm keeping mum. Our purpose is always to join with our brother/sister, not to alienate them by challenging their beliefs.
I have this gut feeling there may be a house cleaning. It's already happened in business, still with huge bonuses being paid.. It could happen in spirituality. It'll just make people adjust their belief systems. Historically, what is written in history serves a belief system having little to do with what was true.
As mentioned in “The Secret” Genevieve Behrend , Wallace Wattles , Charles F. Haanel (author of The Master Key System ) all figured in the New Thought movement in the early 1900's. There's more of a spiritual aspect to their teachings than some of the new ones. In any event LofA isn't new. The focus is on visualization and the universal consciousness. Richard Bandler (Get The Life You Want) stresses visualization, self hypnosis tapes I listened to in the 80's stressed the same thing. How was I to know it actually worked. And gratitude goes without saying.
AngelSpeake was a neat book I read in the 90's. (I think it's out of print now). Ask the angels. That was my introduction to setting the goal. Decide what you want. It partly worked. Beware what you ask for. If only I was more vigilant.
Is the guidance being offered coming from a loving sourse? Or the ego. Something I picked up from Tom and Linda Carpenter. The idea is not to try to change someone. Share what you know. It may be one out of a thousand people you help to see the light. That lucky person. Tom and Linda Carpenter were interviewed on ACIM Gather on PalTalk.
If someone's watching over you are they thrilled with some of the choices you've made. ACIM has removes so much guilt. But then again, it's all about removing the blocks to recognizing our true nature.
Listening to Jon Mundy today I was reminded “I could see peace instead of this.”. Counting to 10 before you respond is a good idea. I should have listened to my mother. He also talks about dreams. I had one and actually felt warm water. I had others but they were release ones or ego driven. Didn't remember enough to write them now.
The Q&A's about the topic “psychic” from Ken Wapnicks' website are interesting.
There are, however, leading or suggestive words or phrases you should be aware of though:
“You're the kind of person ….”
“I know what you're thinking, ...”
“By coming here, ...”
“We are not saying...”.
Some of Richard Bandlers books on the Milton Model explain mind reading in detail.
Mercola had a good article Vegetables Aren't as Good for You as They Used to Be.
He also said “Whenever you hear or read something in the news, it is so important to examine the source and look for any hidden agendas. This is especially true when it pertains to your health or the health of your children.”.
I would say that applies to religion , politics, the environemnt and new age. You name it.
As Krishnamurti said “How do you know someone is enlightened? Because they say so?”
How do you know someone has achieved Asended Master status? Because they say so?

Connecting a few dots.
My fascination with ancient history led me to Atlantis and Lemuria.
Lemuria led me to Shirley Maclaine's book, The Camino. Twin Souls , Saint James and back to Santiago de Compostela.
Ahkenaten led me to Petra, Jordan through two different means
Remember Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade? “The next day, filming moved to the ancient city of Petra, Jordan, which stood in for the temple housing the Grail.”.
Not really sure how I connected these but:
Lisan (tongue) Dead Sea peninsula is mentioned in the Bible Code.
Zecharia Sitchin had a series of books based on the Sumerian Tablets.
Lisan figures there as well.
The geology of the Dead Sea is unusual. It is divided into two parts by a large peninsula called the Lisan (“the Tongue”), which reaches to within two miles of the western shore. North of the Lisan, the Dead Sea is up to 1,310 feet deep, the lowest landlocked point on Earth. To the south, in complete contrast, the waters are shallow, from only three to fifteen feet deep. Could this unusual geological feature be attributed to an explosion which breached the original Lisan and caused the previously dry “valley of the fields” to become submerged under water? To this day, unnatural levels of radioactivity are found in the water of springs around the southernmost edges of the Dead Sea.

ACIM / UNITY
Just a reminder of 2 invaluable resources from the Foundation for A Course in Miracles
Things we should do more often:
- Hug someone. If you can't, imagine who you would if you could.
- Those pennies you see on the ground. They're adding to your first million. Put them in the box at Tim's.
- Stop rushing. Hold the door for someone. Smile.
- Help someone else with leads to that job they need or with their computer problems.
- Compliment others that need it. Give them a boost, keep them positive. Joke with the cashier at Loblaws.
- Start a website. Join an online network. Blog. Share what you know. Inspire others. Show them where to get information(websites, books).
Goal Setting (Practical forgiveness)
Without a clear-cut, positive goal, set at the outset, the situation just seems to happen, and makes no sense until it has already happened. (CH17,VI,3.1)
No goal was set with which to bring the means in line. (CH17,VI,3.5).
The universe will serve it gladly, as it serves the universe. (CH17,VII,6.8)
Most of the LofA stuff leaves out the mutual beneficial component with the universe.
They also have Prayers and Meditations.

I've crashed
Spreading the ashes at the camp back in November was one of the greatest moments I've experienced. The events since then just sullied everything.
I am grateful I was here for my aunt, and all the people that helped that I met. I did learn things about myself and discovered innate skills. A Course In Miracles was a big help. The attributes of a TOG apply to anyone. It's a matter of being consistent.
I strongly recommend keeping a journal. Whether you blog it as I did depends on you. Blogging allows you to organize your thoughts I've discovered.
I suppose the experience has demonstrated moral dilemmas including keeping things at other peoples places or using relatives vacation property.
It has been a long emotional, turbulent year. But I know to take it one day at a time. Now I need a place to stay, a job and a new car.
Now, I can also find someone to have a holy relationship with, walk the beach with, visit the ancient sites with, ballroom dance with, study ACIM with, grow old gracefully with. All in due time.

Harvard Medical School’s rules say that students on campus are supposed to be off-limits to drug company representatives. That is why David Tian, a first-year Harvard medical student, said he found it “strange and off-putting” last fall when a man who identified himself as a Pfizer employee took a cellphone photo of students as they demonstrated against pharmaceutical industry influence on campus.

Music
Neil Young said he thought music would change the world but he no longer believed that. I tend to disagree.
Time to eat all your words
Swallow your pride
Open your eyes
High time we made a stand and shook up the views of the common man
And the lovetrain rides from coast to coast
Every minute of every hour - " I Love a Sunflower "
And I believe in lovepower, Love power, LOVEPOWER !!!
Sowing the Seeds
An end to need
And the Politics of Greed
With love
I've always thought certain music songs pertained to something going on in my life.
Sometimes just about life.
This is the sound of my soul
It might be about relationships
Some day I might (I might) find myself looking in your eyes
The one that you think got away
So take a look at me now, well there's just an empty space
The one you're looking forward to
Two hearts, believing in just one mind
A change in consciousness
I can't stand this indecision
Just like me
They want to be
Close to you
And when the evening comes we smile

Many projections for a new pandemic have been based on a worst-case 1918 scenario, in which tens of millions of people would die globally. However, since strep is much easier to treat than the flu using modern medicine, a new pandemic might be much less dire than it was in the early 20th century.
